“Visiting Buffalo on the way back home from a camping trip. Stopped in this cute town for lunch. There was a sign on the door that dogs are welcome on the back patio. We were thrilled to find that! They were so welcoming. The waitress brought our dog a fresh bowl of water. The patio was cool and shady and the service was super friendly! Our lunch was awesome!! We will stop here again next time through Buffalo!! Shout out to the super friendly staff at the Southside Grill!”
“It looked like it was open, but we had trouble getting the gate open, then the door, and it looked like we had surprised them when we entered, but it got straightened out, and we took seats outside. The menu came along shortly, wow, do they have a lot of items! We picked street tacos and a fajita quesadilla, both were delicious. You could tell it was homemade. Would go back in a heartbeat and try a lot more things!”
“Thanksgiving- very attentive . My Duck was too salty. My potatoes were too salty too. But the rest was great. The Prime rib was great. And the turkey dressing was good and the cranberry was good”

“I'm editing this rating because I just found out there is no take out on Fri or Sat nights!!!! That's ridiculous!!!! Plus there food quality has gone down!!! Not a happy local!!”
“The staff was very short staffed. Yet their attitudes were unbelievable. Very happy and very good! The food was amazing. Might need to come to Buffalo more often. Or maybe they can make another location in Casper!! Highly highly recommend this place!!”
“This is a must stop. So glad we did. It’s in the Old Occidental Hotel so make sure to go next door and check it out. Service was great and I loved the town and the atmosphere.”
“We like to stop in while on the road, they have some of our favorites. The food is served hot and they have a great variety. Anytime we stop the place is busy but they service is fast.Kid-friendliness: I see kids there often.Wheelchair accessibility: There is plenty of room and access for wheelchairs”
“EVERYTHING….we had such an amazing weekend. We came into town for a wedding and we had originally booked at another hotel. The bride and groom had booked at lake stop and invited us over. As soon as we got to Lake Stop you could just sense the vibe. We canceled our other hotel and stayed at Lake Stop. Beth was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. It’s going to sound super cliche but they truly made us feel at home. Tony, Sam, Andrew, Beth & Emma you guys are a bunch of rockstars…especially Emma who on Saturday night played her guitar for all of us! Wow! We can’t wait to come back! Highly and I mean highly recommended!”
“The Mexicans don’t speak much English but are nice enough. The restaurant is kind of shady. Located in some dumpy old run down hotel…But my burrito was excellent!”
“Staying at this hotel is one of the coolest, most memorable things I have ever done. Was like stepping back in time to the 1880’s. Highlight of a very memorable cross country road trip I am on with three friends. We can’t stop talking about it.”
“Subways, of course, are all pretty much identical (except for the rare one that's failing to perform), so differences come down to who works there. This one had a fun staff, which made for an enjoyable meal.”
“Excellent food and fascinating decor. Friendly service. Recommend the Elk Burger. Yummy. But they don't serve Bison burgers--too bad. Cherry pie was superb.”
“Little Hometown Diner with a limited menu, that way they can focus on the items they do and do it right. Had the fish sandwich and Shrimp Chowder special, it was good. The waitress was attentive and friendly”
“This is a wine bar with small plates/snacks. Had the combo charcuterie board and a glass of wine. Nice amd.relaxing atmoshphere. Owners are welcoming and friendly.”
