Haven’t been to a Hardee’s since Oklahoma years ago , and trusted our instincts and yes it was amazing , great food great price quick service , what more could a hungry traveler ask for !!!! Definitely a go to eat place to enjoy

We showed up right at change over. I ordered breakfast my colleague ordered lunch. They were not going to let him order lunch at first. But they changed their mind. Food was great. Bathroom clean. Dining room tables and stools very sticky.

I was there at the busiest time of day, the guy manning the drive thru window was standing right outside the door smoking a cigarette. When he saw me come around the corner he started smoking faster to suck down as much as he could until the last second he had to go in to take my payment, then just tossed it on the ground. So I got to sit there breathing in cigarette smoke while he handled my payment without washing his hands and then directly HANDLED MY FOOD. I didn't want to waste the money I just spent, but I debated throwing it right away. I convinced myself to eat it, but couldn't enjoy it. That level of lack of knowledge about basic food handling cleanliness and clearly poor management would suggest that nothing going on in there is remotely clean or appropriate food service. I don't expect much from fast food, but I will never eat there again. Smoke breaks with subsequent hand washing are perfectly normal in food service, not sure why something that basic can't even be managed appropriately.
