We decided to come out and try the Prime Rib Special. We haven’t had “good” Prime Rib in quite awhile out at a local place with in 50 miles! I was ready to judge just like any Local Wy. Beef eater would. lol. I was impressed by hospitality, service, and how well my prime rib reminded me of the right seasoning, cut like butter, and tasted amazing! “Manda” don’t change the way you’re preparing Prime Rib! It was worth every bite! We’ll be back more often and with more people we know because we’re spreading the word! Plus I love finding places that are Local Wyoming ❤️.

This place should be called the last stop resort. I booked it online expecting to find a nice place to unwind after four days of dry camping. When I got here there was no one in the office. The lounge was closed. The restaurant was closed. I found one guy who worked there and told me to just Park anywhere. First place I tried didn’t have any power so I went to another site. Water, electricity, and seeer works so satisfied all our basic needs, but the grounds are unkept. The lots aren’t clearly marked. They’re not mowed. The pool is nasty. The showers are substandard as is the bathrooms and the laundromat . save your money and go somewhere else because after taxes, it ended up costing us $65 for one night.

Lake Stop Resort USED to be a decent place to stay while at Desmet lake. The place looks abandoned and definitely is not cared for properly. I’m unsure of how this place has 4.4 stars. The staff is very unprofessional, uneducated and could use some training in the customer service area. We left the next morning with two more nights left on our stay, didn’t ask for refund as it’s apparent they need the money… and after our previous interaction with staff we feared being cussed out.

My family and I stayed Lake Stop Resort excepting to have a relaxing, fun in the sun Father’s Day. ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING on their website is a lie. We first arrived wanting a bite to eat, restaurant was open until 8. We got into the restaurant 15-20 minutes before close and our waitress said “we are closing soon & I really don’t want to serve you”. We did not feel like driving back into Buffalo as their website advised TILL 8. Prime rib was so foul, we took it to our room for our dogs to eat, they WOULD NOT touch it. 6 hour old McDonald’s would have been more appetizing.
Bartender felt as if she was the owner and had a big “this is my restaurant” attitude. but couldn’t even make a drink right? Vile women, would be better to society if she lived off a government check.
Website advertised a beautiful remodeled pool & spa room. If I had to guess at least 4 unknown bacteria are probably living in this pool as we could smell it from our room as they tried to cover the smell with ungodly amounts of chemicals.
The cherry on top was the “playground” besides the extremely unstable, rundown and falling over equipment you also get to play along side a Bull Snake Nest YAY!!! My three year old was so very pleased.
We have contact the Better Business Bureau, the Public Health Department (many many public health hazards) and Johnson County courts for “FALSE ADVERTISING”.
Might as well condemn the place, they’re already over have way there.

We just spent the weekend there and had amazing service. The motel room. was very clean and cozy. The food was top notch and the chef was more than accommodating. We will definitely stay there again in the future!!!

Needed an RV site for one night so the campground served its purpose but there’s nothing special about this place. Rv park looks abandoned and run down, pool water is green/brown, showers looked clean but I’d be surprised if someone comes in there daily to clean. This place could really be great if they took time to do some landscaping and add some shade to the sites. There’s weird brick walls surrounding the electric box and dump site which makes plugging in and dumping somewhat difficult, not to mention the spiders that have taken over. The girl who checked me in was very friendly, there was good cell signal and the electricity worked well so those would be my only positive notes. For $44/night, I would not stay again.
