We made reservations only to get treated like crap - told we were trespassing and to get off their land right now. They asked what the f were we even doing there. WE HAD RESERVATIONS made online by this open table BS. Yes, they were having a private wedding. WE DID NOT KNOW THAT. We were treated with no respect like we were some kind of criminal. She yelled at us and was very verbally abusive. I will never ever eat there. The way we were treated was despicable.

It's on a nice ranch which is the best thing it has going for it. The food wasn't bad nor was it amazing, it was decent but the prices were pretty ridiculous. $30 for 10oz of brisket doesn't include sides. $6 for 3 pieces of broccolini, $10 for a cup of scalloped potatoes, it's not fine dining it's decent food on a ranch. I don't mind paying for really good food or unique experiences but this was neither, should've cooked myself. Wouldn't return or recommend.

Was excited to have a nice dinner. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was $52, medium rare. His steak came out medium to well done. The waitress had it remade. The next steak came out medium at best. My husband only ate half of the steak when normally he would eat it all. Very disappointing experience.

Dining at the TA Ranch is more than just dinner...it is an experience. The folks serving you don't just work at the restaurant, they live on the ranch. They take care of the ranch during the day, then serve guests dinner at night. What an amazing experience in a picturesque and historic place!

A 16oz ribeye steak made with marrow butter and served at a remote cattle ranch in rural Wyoming. You can't make this up. It's 15 miles outside Buffalo WY so it's a hike but well worth the drive from town. I had to try the 16oz ribeye. It was calling me from the pictures. The flavors were so good that it rates in the top 10 steaks I have ever eaten and certainly near the top and I am picky. Tender, delicious and well worth the drive. Words just cannot do it justice. If you happen to be close enough to make the trip I highly suggest you try it.

Not impressed with the restaurant at all. People rant at average food, and my wife's dish was contaminated with hair. The manager didn't charge us for the meal, but my wife refused to replace her meal and settled on having a dessert instead. Prices for average food was ridiculous.

The ambience and setting of The Cook House at TA Ranch was exceptional. Food was outstanding and the waitstaff very professional and courteous including the ability and willingness to provide great insights into the history of the region, ranch and present owners. The owner and family were on hand and couldn't be more engaging, kind and friendly - we felt extremely welcomed which all in all made for a wonderful customer experience! So glad we now live in Buffalo in order to both readily attend and recommend to anyone seeking a top notch and quality dining experience.

Was extremely disappointed. Have been before. Local folks. Brought the in-laws for the first time. First time since the menu style change. Had to wait forever to one be greeted to even be seated, then to be given just simply water. Had to ask for the server to explain the process as the in laws have never been and that we had never been since the new change. Was never waited upon again until food came out almost an hour later. It was sub par at best. The chicken did not come with all that was stated on the menu. The broccolini was so done it was crumbling to dust. My husband's salad was forgotten and had to be reminded of, and their burgers we both cooked wrong. Could not get a server to even pay attention to bring this mistake to light. Had to actually ask for more water as we were all empty and no one was bothered enough to even ask how the meals were coming or if anything was needed. Extremely disappointed in the quality, the timing, the experience of the fact that there was nothing but children screaming and running around. We quite enjoyed the TA before and not sure if we will ever return now. Not to mention if we can continue to afford to return as the prices are astronomically high for the lack of everything they say they offer.

The cookhouse at the TA is the best. It's always a relaxing experience with friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and of course delicious food. It feels like we're escaping to our own little get away every time we visit.

What a hidden gem. I'm just sorry that it was two years living in Kaycee before I found out about this place. The food was fabulous, the ambience was rustically beautiful and the service was second to none.

We love the TA ranch. The history, wildlife is stunning. Last night an owl was in the tree outside our window. Geese, pronghorn and deer. Two horses had foals with in last 2 weeks. Katie our waitress is the best. She has awesome personality. The kitchen is excellent. Go hungry portions are large.
