This veteran-friendly restaurant is a must-visit, with a unique POW table and a great overall experience that will keep you coming back. The food is fantastic and outstanding, with abundant portions. Customers enjoyed the diner feel and friendly, fast, and extremely accommodating service. The corn beef hash and eggs was a pleasant surprise, and the 'dollar-size' pancakes were flavorful. The new, larger location is loved, and the owner is attentive. Turnovers, both apple and lemon, are incredible. Going to the Derrick is quickly becoming a family tradition. Food was tasty, and the staff was genuinely interested, asking for opinions. The staff is happy, friendly, and the atmosphere is cheerful, with a nice young man showing pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads.
