Great location & grateful for experience, however it was a hodgepodge of carpets, furniture & taxidermy mounts. The rooms need “fresh air”, slight odor in the whole place. I would tour it before you $ . The food was good! Nice ice cream place few blocks away.Nearby activities: Ice cream joint few blocks - great!!

main dining was closed for a private party so we walked into the lounge as directed by the sign. no one told us where to gand after standing around for a feminutes I asked the bartender who told us to sit wherever we wanted. we sat near the fireplace. the decor is old, the chairs unconformable, but it all seemed to vibe old school west so it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Our waitress was fantastic! the food was pricy but good. 18oz ribeye is $48 bucks and probably weighed around 12oz plus a 6 oz bone. it was cooked a perfect medium and I'd give it a 3/5. the potato was good but the "salad" was barely cut iceberg lettuce with 2 beets 2 cherry tomatoes, and some black olives. the rack of pork ribs looked good and my friend said they tasted great without sauce.I wouldn't go back but it was a fun evening with a good friend and again, Great service!

Lovely historical stop on our trip through Cody. It was fun to see the bar Queen Victoria gifted Buffalo Bill! A must see for sure!

We had dinner here tonight, Sunday, November 12, 2923; I ordered the grilled pork chop. The kitchen was very slow, we waited at least an hour! The pork chop was so very dry it was inedible! The waitress was extremely kind, she asked to owner to adjust our bill. The unreasonable owner told her if we had a problem to come and talk to her ourselves! Seriously?? This is how they want to conduct business? Well you don't get a recommendation from me! If your kitchen fails, you have a responsibility to make it right!! ! We did have lunch there also, I had the Bear Food salad, which was very good, that is the only reason I gave the second star!

We met for a family dinner and the food was great! The prime rib was bigger than expected, the salad bar was fresh and the sweet potato fries were phenomenal! Super historic with amazing animal mounts. Special pricing for mid week was very affordable.

Restaurant was closed for maintenance. Wanted to treat my husband to the buffet that I had been telling him about for a year. One of the main reasons I stay here. Other than that it is great.

Very ornate and historic. You can feel the old times still lingering in the air. Great food and service. Buffalo burgers are fantastic and reasonable.

Lots of great historical things to see while you wait… and wait! I ordered off the menu and those in our party that got the buffet were completely finished eating their meal and dessert before our hamburgers arrived. I asked for my burger medium, as I described that I wanted pink in the center to the waitress, and it arrived burnt on the bottom, totally dry and not pink AND the roll was stale! The sweet potato fries were good though.

We just went here to check out the place and dine in the restaurant. Very neat place and historical hotel . We went second floor to just check out the rooms and the guy that was cleaning room was so nice enough to offer us to show Buffalo Bills room ! That was a nice treat from him . Thank you ! Food was great and service was also awesome . We were greated by a wonderful rubber band magician which we enjoyed . I believe he was trying to impersonate Buffalo Bill . We surely enjoyed our stop in this restaurant. We will be back if we get a chance to go back to Cody .

LOVED IT!. There was 6 of us and we walked in just wanting to have a drink at the fancy bar. Well the fancy bar given to Mr Cody by the Queen is for pictures only. We decided to stay for dinner. The very excellent host sat us down pretty quick when the place looked jam packed for people having dinner at the buffet. We all chose to order from the menu and everything we had was excellent. Best part, is that when we asked our lovely server if we could each have separate checks she didn't bat an eye and just said , sure, no problem! Food was delicious and we couldn't have been happier. One of my most memorable meals while traveling in this part of the country. Hopefully I'll make it back there again one day.
