We stopped by Michael’s Taco in Cody, Wyoming for lunch and were welcomed with complimentary chips and salsa, which was a nice start. We ordered the fajita chimichangas and the fajita combo (shrimp, carnitas, and beef). The fajita chimichanga was delicious, and the fajita combo came out sizzling hot which made it even more appetizing. The shrimp was flavorful, though the carnitas and beef were a little chewy. The combo was also a bit salty to my liking, but still tasty overall. The rice and beans on the side were also delicious.
The ambience is colorful and lively with bright décor, papel picado banners, and a casual dining atmosphere that makes the place inviting. I also like that they have automatic doors, which makes the restaurant wheelchair accessible.
Even though it was busy, the servers were very friendly. They always made sure to refill our drinks and check in every now and then to see if we needed anything, which added to the overall experience.
Overall, it was a good dining experience with flavorful dishes, generous portions, a vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service.

I got the 2 choice combo plate, the pork Tamale w green sauce & Chicken Enchilada w green sauce (and red sauce on the side). Entire meal was beyond amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and there were enough toppings for every bite. Ended the meal with the Sopapias which were fluffy and hot and just wonderful! 10/10 for sure, gotta stop by and eat there if you love authentic mexican cuisine 💙
