First visit to Cody. Sunday just after 1 pm, was looking forward to a steak dinner. Read the reviews of this well established place located downtown within walking distance of our great hotel, The Scout Inn. Ribeye and steak fries, Cowboy burger with a side choice of broccoli salad. Absolutely wonderful! Bartender made a great Bloody Mary and our waitress was spot on!

I'm a bison rancher and sell bison meat for a living. DO NOT order bison from this restaurant. It is not an accurate or acceptable representation of bison meat. My experience was disappointing at best. Overcooked and tiny in proportion, when I questioned the quality and quantity of the meal the server instantly became rude and tried making me feel bad for questioning the sub par food. I would not recommend.........

Great steaks and a lovely waitress but Jessie the owner was really incredibly rude and unpleasant . The menu has no prices or measures for drinks. She grudgingly admitted a very short measure of wine ( perhaps 3 not 6 ounces) and with very bad grace topped it up . I guess with lots of regulars she doesn’t care a jot how she treats tourists . Buy a measure for your wine then no issues ….

Our party of four went in on a Saturday night and were seated immediately, even without reservations. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Ordered drinks, several beers, a hot water, and a long island. Took forever. When the drinks came, the long island had whiskey in it. Took a sip and sent it back. Another long wait. Second one came out and still not a LI. Dinner was served and I had ordered shrimp with onion rings. The rings werew cool and very soggy, obviously had been sitting for awhile. We used to take our visiting company there, but no more.

This is NOT your sterile chain restaurant. Thank goodness! This is old Cody. Western, comfortable, nostalgic and the food is terrific! Taryn was our server and did a great job being attentive and providing all we needed. Could not have asked for more. We will return!

Ordered the waiter-recommended bone in rib-eye. It was appropriately cooked and seasoned but was the worst cut of ribeye I’ve ever had. It was extremely tough with lots of gristle. Discussed with waiter with no attempt at resolution.

Been going there for years and it was always good until this year. Onion soup had more croutons than onions, Husband's beef mushroom soup was very salty Filets were not juicy. And our friends Who live in Cody had to send back their prime rib because it was so full of grizzle they couldn't cut through it. Very sad.

After waiting 20 minutes AFTER being seated to order, it took 40 minutes to bring me a shoe leather ribeye steak served cold with soggy cold fries. Waitress apologized and brought me a warmed over ribeye that was absolutely the worst steak ever. Steak was tough, full of gristle and fat and had absolutely no taste. I also forgot to add they were out of several side items, that is why I had to order fries. Just a terrible waste of time and money.
