Horrible food, it tasted like it was old. Service was okay, but the food felt like it was expired. Didn’t smell good and had felt really gassy afterwards.

The place was old and a bit dirty. I think the owner is a Japanese woman whose English was hard to understand. She took our order, but wrote down Godzilla instead of the volcano roll my husband ordered. Rather than correcting the mistake, she blamed us. We were ready to leave since the service was bad and the food wasn't good either. The udon soup was too salty and the rice on the sushi was hard, so it must have been old rice. This was weird because we expected fresh food since they had just opened and we were their first customers. I asked for the check and a to-go box because my son didn't want to waste his birthday celebration food. After asking several times for the box, I grabbed one myself and told them that if they didn't give me the check, we would leave without paying. They quickly gave us the bill, but never came back to take payment. The gentleman making sushi came out and said it was okay, he would process the payment because I told him we were leaving. I don't know where the old Japanese woman and the waitresses was. They had four people working, serving four tables, so they weren't busy. All in all, it's a place I will never recommend to anyone. It's suspicious enough that there's a sushi restaurant in a secluded town far from any sea creatures. What do you expect? Sushi that's worse than gas station sushi. We should have known better.

We went there Oct 18th, after tournament as a reward my daughter picked it. It had the coolest booth I've ever seen! With seat cushions, gave it a relaxing feel. We got the chicken and shrimp pho, it was the best pho I've ever had the broth had so much richness and flavor enough to make you mouth drool before you even got a bite. My husband and son spilt the beef ramen and they didnt even have any leftovers, he said it was so good he couldn't stop eating. This was a fun experience to get to try a new restaurant , so if your passing through and craving some japenese food I would highly recommend stopping by here it is work every doller spent! Thank you for letting us experience something so great.

Shiki is such a gem in Cody! The sushi is always fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The menu has something for everyone — from classic rolls to creative chef specials — and the presentation is top notch. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is cozy, making it the perfect spot for sushi night in Cody.

For 49 dollars my boyfriend and I got food poisoning. We ordered a salmon roll, gyoza and dumpling soup and even a chicken pho which is impossible to mess up or so we thought. We ate literally only the gyoza and didn’t touch the pho as the noodles weren’t cooked. I asked for sriracha and hoisin sauce and they didn’t even know what that was or have it. We literally were the only people there and never got refills or checked on.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience here was really disappointing. I ordered the chicken tempura, and it came out cold and unappetizing. After just three bites, I couldn’t bring myself to eat any more—it was gross. We waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food, which felt excessive, and when I asked if I could send mine back and get a refund, I was told, “Well, we cooked it for you, so you have to pay.”
On top of that, we didn’t receive our appetizer yet but was given our main courses, and when we asked about it, the waiter was noticeably rude. The customer service overall was poor, and I felt disrespected as a paying customer. Being made to pay for a meal I clearly didn’t eat after waiting so long just didn’t feel right. I would not recommend this place based on how I was treated. Ironically, the table next to us did not touch their food either and said it was not good- they payed and ate somewhere else.

Warm sushi, no flavor, spicy tuna not spicy, did I mention the sushi was warm. Very disappointed.
This was one of the best meals I've had in Cody and I'm so grateful my dinner plans got canceled so I got to stumble in here. The server was so sweet. The price was well worth the food, and very fair. Absolutely delicious.

I ordered sushi which okay, but my fiancé ordered fried rice and the fried rice was absolutely disgusting 🤮 It was absolutely the worst rice I have ever tasted. The $10 sushi tasted way better than the $25 rice, when I expressed this to the waitress she told me that that’s how there rice is and they have never had a problem till now so it’s a personal issue. After I finished my Sushi we paid and left and we did not touch the big pile of disgusting rice and the smell of it was very off putting as if the meat was ruined. I do not recommend this place at all!!!!
