“The food (country fried steak) was great. The service was excellent.

What really got me was not being made to feel unwelcome or out of place. The staff was friendly and the customers were friendly. Some kind soul picked up my check. It sent me into tears. It wasn’t the money as much as it was the kindness.
Any sort of genuine kindness has been rare for me, and whoever you are that did that..you healed a piece of me that was losing hope. Thank you for your empathy and compassion. Thank you for your kindness. I would have tried to figure out who you were to tell you myself, but I was fighting off tears. ❤️‍🩹“
