My biggest problem with this place is they have 20 tvs and can’t get the right games on. I stopped here twice now to catch a bit of the “big game” and they couldn’t produce. Tonight they claimed they didn’t have ABC, which meant that the person operating the remotes didn’t have a good working knowledge of Direct TV. Anyway, generally pretty good food, nice bar, etc. I just find that inexcusable in a place that caters to sports.
Prime rib was really good. My wife always eats a filet but to our astonishment this restaurant doesn’t even offer a filet. We asked our waitress and she said she didn’t know what that even was. IMO the Derby is missing some sales on this item. Food was slow in arriving but good when it did arrive. They were busy so that could explain the delay. We are from Mississippi but are in Wyoming every year from early August to late October. We will eat here again.
Have ate here 4 times recently, first 2 times we were very impressed, food was excellent, cooked according order and we liked that they make alot of items in house. Had family in town took them here, the salmon and burgers were extremely overdone, the onion haystack was a very small portion. We decided to try it one more time, brought company that was in town, again very disappointing, over cooked food. For what the prices are for here in Douglas, Wy. I would except some consistency....
