The smoky bacon mac and cheese with pulled pork is perhaps one of the best things I have ever eaten!

We tried this place heading north and I enjoyed the smashburgers so much we stopped again on the way south. The fresh were outstanding and service great. Great Reuben also.

Delicious food and great service as always! We make a point to stop at The Depot for lunch every year while passing through Douglas during football season. The Marinated Chicken Wrap with potato salad, and the Trainwreck Double Smash with tots were on point! To top it off- Anna is terrific!

The service was very unfriendly. We were never asked how our food was or if we needed anything ( our waitress never asked but someone else came and asked how everything was). We paid 22$ for a chicken fried steak the size of a small plate with no mashed potatoes and a very small amt of gravy. We were never asked if we wanted water which would’ve been nice.
We were not impressed.

We felt like we were a burden here. Any question we asked was met with attitude from our waitress. When we left after we paid, the waitress didn’t say goodbye. There was only one other customer eating when we were there. I’m not sure what we did wrong but we likely won’t be back due to customer service. Food was average (we would have probably ordered something different if the questions we asked were met with better responses tbh). We went in excited to experience a Depot Restaurant. Left underwhelmed.

Waiter was great. The food was just ok. I had BLT with one tiny tomato. If the kitchen is out of tomatoes I would rather the waiter tells me and I could order something else. Last time it was really good. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes it's great. Terrible seating. Table by the coffee pot and the kitchen. For 50 bucks plus tip it was disappointing. The waiter was the best we have had in a long time anywhere in Douglas.

Update: Tonight’s dinner was awesome! I came back for another ribeye and they nailed it! The loaded baked potato was very good and the salad was large and fresh. The music had been updated and was playing some good ole country music. The waitress was very nice and checked on me multiple times, but not too many. I can see why this establishment gets recommended to me by so many locals.

Pretty good ribeye. Basic loaded baked potato. The waitress was very nice, but only checked on us one time. Cool interior, but their choice of music was not great. Overall, I would go back again.

We are from out of town, stopped in to get a bite to eat. It took several minutes of workers just walking by us and the hostess not addressing us, before we were finally greated. We ordered a burger and tacos. We sat for over an hour without being checked on. Not even a refill. Every time our waitress would come out, she'd keep her back to us, making it hard to get her attention. We finally got up and asked how much longer our food would be, as people who came in after us were getting food brought out. The waitress then storms over to the table demanding to know what the "issue" is. We explained the situation and asked how much longer. She never once apologized. She very rudely said it's almost done and depending on the order will depend on the time. Thank you captain obvious, but in no situation should a burger or tacos take over an hour. We continued to wait about 10 more minutes and then the hostess comes over and asks if we'd just like it boxed up to go. What the hell type of service is that? Having to wait in a busy rush is understandable. The lack of customer service is not.
