“Food was homemade and very fresh. Stopped in while passing through the other day and liked it so much we stopped in again as we were headed home. I can’t remember the last time I had Chinese food this good. Each dish was made to order. If you ask for it spicy it will be spicy. The options are level 1 - 10. 5 was perfect for me. Anything above that is for the adventurous! It is very authentic!“

“Decent stop in Douglas, with good service
The Plains Trading Post Restaurant has a friendly atmosphere and a nice local feel. The food was okay — nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. The service was good and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s worth noting that it’s still a smoking restaurant, with only the main dining room being non-smoking, which might not appeal to everyone. Overall, a decent stop if you’re passing through, but there’s room for improvement.“
