A must stop when you are in Gillette. Excellent drink and food!😋
Idk whats here but heres 5 stars from sf ppl seem to like it!
Big Lost Meadery is a gem to be found in Gillette. The owner, Rainer, was gracious to give us some background and understanding of proper mead fermentations and to sit and chat for a bit. The atmosphere at Big Lost feels like a Nordic Cabin, wood burning stove and all. We loved Wild Woman, and I was quite a fan of the altbier brewed at Big Lost. Look forward to stopping by again!
Outstanding brewery and friendly staff. This open and airy brewery has quality offerings and a very friendly staff. Located conveniently off the main drag with plenty of parking. It’s dog friendly and you can hang inside or out. No food but their neighbors allegedly have superb food and it appears to be working in conjunction with Big Lost. Might as well be the brewery dining room? The beer was good and it was a nice day to sit outside. There is a playground for the kiddos so expect kid stuff like running around, yelling, and general kid stuff. Not a worry as they are just trying to release their wiggles. The lady behind the bar was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very proud of their town. I enjoyed hearing her civic pride and advocacy for the state of Wyoming. A perfect brew pub experience, thanks for the hospitality. I was 2,000 miles from home and she made this old traveler feel very welcome!

Wow! What a Great meadery!
Laid back atmosphere. I really enjoyed the flight, I bought several bottles. Delicious with varying degrees of flavors. The dark beer was nice and smooth.
Amazing experience, great opportunity to try a great beer & meadery in Wyoming. It priceless.
It worth swinging by here in Big Lost Meadery.
Excellent structure and customer service.
The beer here is really good.
Best burger in town. Loved the cocktails.
On a whim, we opted to pivot to Wyoming and see if we can take a 5th state win in the Hop Passport Amazing Brewery Race 2025.
This was stop 1 of 9, after a 7.5hr drive from Minot, ND & it's definitely one of the most interesting so far.
The mead is a hefty 18% &, with the Hop Passport discount, our 2 3.5oz pours came to $3.50 (before tip). We added a 4-pack of house brews (not yet tested, currently in the cooler) for the thirsty Thursday deal of $15/4-pk!
Staff were friendly and the mead is certainly intriguing. The 2 styles we tried were crazy woman, Hibiscus infused & orange coriander (not yet available in bottles.)
Great place, beer is ok but great meade. Lady bartender is kind of a wild woman though. She puts cinnamon in beer and talks about how she sells meade in China for $100 a bottle. Haha, whatever lady, maybe slow down on the meade, haha!
Staff is super friendly and the cocktails are very refreshing! Our pup loved it too!

Can't commend the owner and staff enough! Beautiful place, great bartenders, NO TV's so you can actually socialize.
We were in town for an antelope hunt and found ourselves here every night for the great atmosphere!
Great drinks, phenomenal staff and attention to detail. We will definitely be 'regulars' on our antelope hunt next year!
Great stop. Very good Mead, Flathead Warrior was excellent. Very helpful bartender
A good experience, atmosphere is very nice, the selection they have is very good recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey with great drinks
Loved it! We've never tried mead but everything on our flight was awesome - we even bought a bottle of the Crazy Woman blend to take home. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Will return
