A perfect first impression.

Went there recently and it’s summertime and it’s warm… However, it’s a very tiny place already, but I was hoping to get out of the heat and have a nice meal and it was warmer inside than it was outside, we got seated and decided to leave and go elsewhere. Please get the air conditioner fixed, I work outside all day and the last thing I wanna do is eat a meal in 90+ degree weather… With it warmer inside than it is outside

Love this place to eat at. Got a recommendation from a friend who lives there, and it was all she said it would be. Waitresses were fast, friendly, great at their jobs and the food was dynamite...delicious, etc.

Omg. I will dream about this chicken. It was so incredibly good. We also had the buffadilla which was delicious as well, and the green beans were so good- they are the green beans all other green beans will be compared to. If I’m ever in this part of the country again, I’m coming back. It’s definitely worth the trip.

Good food, good service considering how busy and possibly understaffed they were.

I recently visited The COOP in Gillette, Wyoming, based on high recommendations from the locals. Unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming.

I started with what was described as homemade breaded cheese triangles, which turned out to be heavily breaded cheese empanadas that tasted overly greasy. For my main course, I ordered the half chicken with corn and French fries. The corn consisted of two small cobs, both of which were burnt, and the chicken, while edible, lacked flavor—I’ve honestly had better from Costco.

While the food fell short of expectations, I will note that the service was pleasant; the waitress was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Despite this, I don’t anticipate returning.

My husband and I are traveling through the area and discovered they have meal prep bowls to go. We bought 5 of them to keep us fed on our multi day drive home. The chicken pot pie is a hearty portion and the seasoning is on point. I got the chicken chorizo tacos with fried pineapple with red salsa, it was amazing and I think you'll be impressed with the quality and value of your meal.

Amazing meal, delicious, artful plating, and the staff was absolutely incredible. Wish I could give ten stars.

An unexpected little, casual gem in the near-middle of nowhere in Wyoming! We ate comfortably on a small, covered outdoor deck—perfect for the 13-year old labradoodle with whom we are traveling. We were greeted with a plate with four mini corn muffins and butter and genuine and thoughtful service. Hubby enjoyed his crispy and chewy chicken empanadas with two dipping salsas , accompanied by authentic black beans. My bowl of tortilla soup was so delicious and beautifully presented. Lovely experience!

Food was fine but service was awful. They lied to me on phone about the wait, told me it wasn’t crowded and then when I got there told me 30 minute wait. Also sat people that got there after me even though I called and was there before them. When confronted about it, they didn’t apologize or feel remorse. If you are not a local or just spending the afternoon in Gillette do not come here, they will not treat you nice
