The Railyard - Gillette

Tonight we went out for a date and from start to finish the whole evening was amazing! Our server recommended the specials and I am glad we chose them! The food was hot and fresh and came out very quickly. The only thing that I’m upset about is that I should have ordered a bowl of the lobster bisque instead of the cup! Thanks for being one of the best places in Gillette

Great food, great staff, Sydney our bartender was absolutely phenomenal. Hands down the best lemon drop martini I’ve had in town. 10/10 recommend going and seeing her for your next drink!

We had left the Badlands of South Dakota that morning, and were on a full day drive across Wyoming to Yellowstone. Gillette is a great lunchtime stop, and the Railyard was delicious! It is very clean, wasn't very crowded, and has a great variety on its menu. We appreciated our time to get out of the car, and have a great meal. Would highly recommend!

Our waitress was the only kind one she was amazing. But unfortunately as soon as I walked in we got forced to move to outdoor seating just because I have a service dog. And was being rude and just unprofessional the only reason I will ever come back is because our waitress was 10/10 amazing she also works at the chop house she is awesome and absolutely adored my service dog.

The food was down right terrible. We were with a bus tour of about 25 people. I could not believe what they served me. I ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich. My best guess is that the chicken was cooked days earlier, taken out of the fridge and was microwaved. I know that is a bold thing to suppose but the chicken was inedible. Others at my table reported how terrible their food was too. Based on the other good reviews I can only figure that the restaurant serves bus tours differently than they do the locals. You might ask why I did not simply send it back. There simply was no time. We were on a strict time limit and if I did I likely would not have received my food in time. This treatment is unfortunate as the tour I was on gives this restaurant lots of business as it is repeated throughout the season. I will say our waitress was nice and the place had a nice vibe.

My husband and shared the ribeye steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was tender and very flavorful. Our server was fantastic. Polite and very accommodating. We will definitely visit here again on our next visit to Wyoming. Yum.

Great service, lousy food and lazy kitchen staff, not busy when we were there ... kitchen took over an hr to put our meal together and the order was wrong when it came out..way over priced at this place ..the wait staff was amazing great service, only good thing I got to say about the place

In order the Walleye fillet and there were many bones as well as scales that I had to deal with. The Baked potato was barely warm. Sorry but I cannot go back. Service was good, beer selection was good and cold.
