Stopped by buckin bar and was seriously impressed with the changes under the new ownership. The place has a much better vibe nowâcleaner, more welcoming, and just feels like a spot you want to hang out in for a while.
Theyâve got free pool and free darts on certain days which is honestly a huge win. Itâs rare to find a bar where you can just kick back and play without dropping extra cash. Plus, theyâve started doing line dancing nightsâwhich bring in a fun crowd and make the place feel alive. Whether youâre a seasoned two-stepper or just there to watch, it adds a great energy.
Drinks are solid, with a nice mix of beers and cocktails. Prices havenât gone crazy either, which is appreciated. The bartenders were super friendly and on top of things.
If you havenât been since the changeover, itâs worth checking out. Feels like buckin bar is on its way to becoming a local favorite again.

This bar has a new bartender. She seems to be trying to turn around all the negative energy and bad reviews about the bar. They are starting to do specials weekly. They offer Free Pool Friday's 5Pm-9Pm & Sundays 12 PM - 5 Pm. They also do free darts on Monday's from 5Pm - 7PM. They have a happy hour on Mondays as well! Then I recently learned they do country line dancing on Wednesday from 6-8 PM! That was so fun and enjoyable! They have a good size bar and there is lots of things to do. They just need to get a crowd in there willing to give them a chance again after the poor bartenders from the past. Looks like Nicole is going to be a great asset to this bar! I'm excited to see this bar turn around and it become a regular hang out! She was talking to me about a NFR week and changing it back to a country/western bar! That will be fantastic! Green River has always needed something like the Satellite in Rock Springs! Sending lots of good luck to them!

So much fun, touchstones, pool, cornhole, gamble, bingo darts and more!
Fun! A guy even got on the bar and danced. I told my husband, after I whooped him at pool 2x, "oh boy! It's gonna turn 'Coyote Ugly' up in here in a minute!"

Where to even begin. This bar is absolutely garbage and so is the bartenders. The bartenders are low life low paid insecure losers. They allowed a drunken patron harass me for having a dance with my own girlfriend. They automatically took the side of their drunken pillock patron bc they are low life worthless derelict âbartendersâ with their nose up the patrons behind. Theyâll be getting the fattest lawsuit the owner of this establishment had ever seen shortly theyâll be seeing them for show. Avoid this toxic corrupt trash heap go to ponderosa or anywhere else unless you prefer the company of white trash cuck bartenders then itâs the place for you!

Man it sucks to do this, but i guess i have to. Im fairly a regular here used to love this bar, but until one of the most recent male bartenders started there. Its a long story, but to make it short this guy has such an ego for himself its quite mind boggling. On top of that he is too busy trying to bang kayleigh that he neglects his job all the time. One night he did just that, after waiting over 15 minutes for a drink while he was outside doing whatever with kayleigh, i got impatient, so as a good samaritan i write down on a napkin my 2 yeager bombs to give to him when he returns and i make myself 2 shots while he is just GONE away from his duties. Supposedly thats frowned upon, which you know what i get it, insurance and whatever reason might be involved. Fast forward 2-3weeks later i come out with a buddy and the bartendee with no life because all of them spend every second there whether working or not is interesting. Anyway average joe comes to me attempting to threaten me because i had to do his job while he is trying to get laid. In the end i embarrased him, made him look stupid for abandoning his job. I used to enjoy going to the buck, but especially the last jackass they employed really ruined that.

The heck is non smoking so you can enjoy having a good time without smelling horrible when you leave, there is always some fun event , find raiser, live music or just a simple game of pool, darts or corn hole going on. I highly recommend checking it out
