Loved it! Quick place to stop on the road for a short break, and great food! I haven't gotten a burger that good put in a long time. Onion rings also excellent. My husband said the coffee was good, too, as well as his French dip and fries.
They do have online menus. Sit wherever you want when you enter and scan the QR code to see what they have. Then, the waitress will take your order, bring you the check, and you pay at the register.
Everyone was friendly and helpful, so concerns about the food or staff didn't fit my visit. It was all great.

11/23/2025: Popped in around midnight on a Sunday. Empty. We were the only two there. Waitress was friendly and service was prompt. Breakfast was exactly what we were looking for.

Food was ok . Service sucked. Waitress highly rude. Didn't know about food . Or answers. Screwed up order. Cook on the other hand was nasty after order corrected. Making a nasty comment that customers should not of heard. Or perhaps was supposed to . Either way not appropriate. I still ended up getting wrong order. Missing food. If the both hate there jobs so much . Maybe it's time to move on. The dinner was kinda empty so not like they were rushed. Waitress begging for tips is a good way not to receive one specially after being rude .

What a cool diner. Just like they should be. Good food, great service and awesome atmosphere. This is a great place to stop for food .
We stopped in Green River Wyoming for the night on a cross country drive. We came to Penny’s for breakfast and it was great. Food was good. The staff was so friendly and kind. The atmosphere was a classic diner. Will definitely eat here again when we make another trip through.

First night we ordered medium rare hamburgers got Well done! Served by a grumpy lady. Wasn't an enjoyable meal. 2nd time for breakfast...different crew! They were so accommodating, friendly, food was perfect!!
