MINERS AND STOCKMEN'S Reviews
Nice atmosphere. The service was good. Very limited menu. We ordered a ribeye and a filet mignon. The meat portion sizes were as advertised on the menu. The side items were very small. The flavor of the meat was mediocre. The meal was very expensive. With a simple desert and two glasses of wine, the total before tip was $190.
Best steak in the state!! Incredible dessert, great cocktails, and friendly service!
Michael was a wonderful waiter. His recommendations were spot on. This was my husband and i’s first night out in a long time after welcoming another baby. What a great evening! The steak (ribeye and filet) were out of this world. We never order dessert but shared crème brûlée and it was sooo good.

Miners and Stockmen's is a restaurant located in a small town with a population of 64, offering a limited menu of appetizers, steaks, and desserts. The steaks here are a highlight, being handcut and of high quality, cooked to perfection with minimal seasoning, and considered the best in a long time. The ribeye and filet are especially praised. The brownie dessert is a standout, and the crème brûlée is very good. The service is excellent and friendly, with super cool, down-to-earth staff. The atmosphere has a charming, old saloon feel, and the outdoor dining area provides a view of Mule deer. The drink menu is extensive and unique, featuring a great liquor selection. The restaurant is well priced, military friendly, and very accommodating with food allergies. The whole bar area is very cool, adding to the relaxed vibe. Visitors often find that they cannot order a steak anywhere else that compares to the quality served here, making it a must-visit for a tasty meal and a unique experience in this part of the state.
