The Emporium At Hawk Springs

We stopped here for lunch while passing through, and we were very glad we did. The server was very friendly and talked with us about our trip. My son loved the ribs, which were super tender, and my husband and I both enjoyed the BLT. The watermelon slices that accompanied each dish were sweet and refreshing, and the Mac and cheese was fabulous. With green chiles, it had just enough kick to make it truly special. And the desserts were delicious. We each sampled one of the options and left full and happy. With a charming atmosphere, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and fabulous food - all at a reasonable price - it was well worth the stop!!!

Smoked prime rib open sandwich was awesome paired with potato salad with fried green beans for appetizers 5 star!!! Price very economical compared to bigger towns. Try a slice of buttermilk pecan pie.

I had ribs that was made two days out then heated in a microwave. The worst ribs I have eaten. My daughter in law had shrimp that were undercooked. Do not eat there on Sunday nights. Waste of money and the prices were outrageous.

Wow! What a stop off en route to Mt Rushmore and the Black Hills from Denver.
Fabulous food and a great location.

What a fabulous stop off en route to Mt Rushmore! Travelling from the UK this was a great, authentic stop. Super atmosphere and great food. The Pecan Pie was to die for!
