We had the King fu style burger and birria tacos which were very good. The birria dip was exploding with flavors and so was the burger.

We loved our experience at the Melvin Dojo! If you find yourself in Jackson and are a beer lover, definitely check this place out! Great music playing, amazing beer, and a super cool atmosphere right on the square. I would highly recommend!

My family had lunch here and as my daughter and I love Ramen we asked the waiter and he highly recommended it. Well, simply it was disgusting. The broth tasted like a stock cube, the noodles were two minute noodles from a supermarket and the pork was over cooked and dry. The egg was the only redeeming ingredient but you got half an egg. Clearly, the cook had no training in cooking Ramen. My only advice is remove it from the menu.

Melvin makes some of the finest pale ales and IPA's in the country, so it was no surprise the beer was excellent. It was fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon when we stopped by, but the atmosphere was family-friendly and the food also delicious. Great spot in Jackson Square!

Love the patio here! Cocktails, bao buns, edamame with orange zest and birria taco were absolute FIRE. Pasole was pretty good though I missed the traditional style of serving with fresh cabbage/tons of cilantro and radish. Skip the seaweed salad. 🙈 But overall everything was fab. Julian was a superstar!!! He enhanced the whole experience with his phenomenal vibes. 🫶🏼 Will definitely be back, especially since it’s the only place in town that has food late - really appreciate that offering! Thanks yall ☺️

When being sat we were told “I’m not going to push these tables together because I don’t wanna have to put them back.” We asked somebody else and they said not problem. Red flag #2.
Service experience was odd at best. Not rude not nice just odd.
Everybody’s food was off. From undercooked edamame to undercooked Ramen noodles, everything was just slightly off bad or wrong In its own unique way.
Seven hours later, every single person in our party of nine that ate meat, got violently ill. It was the worst and most Hilariously accurate case of food poisoning I’ve ever seen.

We started our reunion weekend at Code Red. The atmosphere was cool and our server was friendly and timely. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I, however, wished that my burrito had a little more flavor. It was quite bland to me. My flight of shots was interesting. The last two shots of the flight were hot! Sucking on a piece of lime before and after the shot really helped.
