Here’s the crux of it. A good restaurant with good food and a good atmosphere should be able to figure out attract business, pay wait and kitchen staff competitively, and still make a profit. This place obviously can’t do that. The food was amazing, the service was above average, and the atmosphere was nice. Gather has decided to charge an additional 2% to all customer to provide for a “living wage” for their employees and THEN hit us with an automatic 20% tip on top of that. This will be THE LAST time that we gather at Gather.

I love the food at gather. One of my fav places in town… Angelina was really sweet with us, she did offer many options and she was really informed about the menu.
We had a large group and they did a great job. Food is amazing. Everyone in our group commented on how good it was. We had eaten at two other places before that were very good however Gather topped all. Highly recommend.

I went here specifically for the beef tartare (and wine). The tartare was excellent. I wish it had been served with homemade potato chips (like The Local), but instead it was served with very crusty bread. The roof of my mouth recovered after a few days. I wish I had been hungrier because the trout looked delicious.

This place was absolutely fantastic. There was an array of pallets at my table and they were able to cater to all pallets and dietary preferences. The waitress sunshine was so attentive. She made sure we felt celebrated at our party since we were out celebrating two engagements. They helped with a discounted bottle of champagne! They made sure all the food was on point, especially since there was one vegan in the group. The brussel sprouts were on fire!!! They put the cheese on tbe side for them. The carmalized onion vegan dip was UNREAL! The meat eaters loved the elk bolognese and the fried chicken over Mac and cheese. Definitely give this place 5 stars and would go again.

Update: The manager of the restaurant called us and was very sorry for our experience. He offered for us to come back and get dinner on the restaurant. We already had plans but we came back for dessert and drinks. They made sure we had wonderful service and I really appreciated them reaching out to make our trip to Jackson hole special.The food was delicious! The cocktails were great. BUT my partner made a reservation for my birthday about a month in advance. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation for 7 on a Friday night and we were told that they were running late without a good estimate when we would be seated. There isn’t really anywhere to wait and the bar was filled so we asked if they could call us when the table was ready. They said of course and we roamed around downtown along the icy sidewalks for a bit then went to get a drink. We were called 25 minutes later and told the table was ready. We were seated at a high top next to the bar in an actual hallway right next to the door. I could see the other tables were having a lovely time the cushy booths. So we felt a bit of fomo. The wait staff was mostly for the bar. They did try to stop by as frequently as they could but it could have been a bit better. The food was good, we got the pork shank and the corn curry. For a birthday dinner the ambiance could have been nicer and the service a bit better. But eh.. also no parking so walk if you are staying in town.

The food, service and ambiance were great! Lucky to have Sunshine as our waiter! She certainly lived up to her name. The PBJ cocktail is the best. I definitely recommend this spot if you visit Jackson Hole!

We ate at GATHER with a group of 10 on Sunday evening and everyone loved their meal so my husband and I decided to make another reservation for Saturday evening after all our houseguests had left! Service was very attentive, had great recommendations, food was exquisite, drinks were perfect. We'll be back!
The food is consistently phenomenal! Love the pork buns and the burrata and the fried chicken. Best ever! Last night, we had a girls reunion of four while the Pinedale High School ski races are here. Our waitress was also a ski instructor and was fantastic. Very attentive. One of my favorites in Jackson!!

We loved our experience at Gather so much we went on back to back nights during our trip to Jackson, Wyoming. The service was excellent, very attentive and we received great recommendations on dishes, such as adding the fried chicken to the curry noodles- delicious! Drinks were outstanding, especially enjoyed the old fashioned. Sitting at the high top in the bar area was perfect for us and we will request in the future. Dishes we particularly enjoyed including the aforementioned curry w/chicken, were the pork shank, bison short ribs and the Jackson Hole donuts.
