“We were staying in Lander and wanted some Mexican food. It's in the same building as the gas station so we were a little worried. But the food was good. We had a green burrito and a chimmy. Both were better than expected. Green sauce was really good. Service was nice and quick. Chips with salsa and beans start it off. Don't be afraid of the location.”

“We don't go through Lander without a stop at The Middle Fork. They never disappoint. The Tomato Soup is the best I've ever had. Paired with the Crab Omelet, which the chef happily split and made individually for us this visit shows that manager, Jamie, has trained her crew well trained with customer service. Can't decide what to eat? The quiche is always fantastic!”

“Just enjoyed Birthday dinner with my wife and inlaws. Every aspect of the experience was a 10. The server, Aurelia, was spot on, and all of the menu selections were out of this world. Owner/Chef Joe is extremely talented! Highly recommend.”

“It's sometimes hard to find a bakery with good coffee, but this place checked all the boxes. I had their Quiche and a Blueberry Scone. Both were excellent. It's an old building, but they've done a nice job of decorating it.”

“This is a beautifully designed location for something to eat or drink with friends or family. It has this older feeling with an updated aspect to it. Wonderful atmosphere to be in and the amazing people working are truly professionals at their craft. So you know, the grill part is food from Gannett Grill. I had a Pesto Lodge Pole and let me tell you, this is designed for more than one but if alone, is a meal in itself. It was delicious. I had leftovers to take. I also had the He’s-A-Fun-Guy burger. It is a portabella mushroom burger. I’ve never had that & I just wanted to try it. Have to step out of that comfort zone & try new things sometimes. Expand those horizons. It was delicious though & I was thoroughly impressed by it. It’s just a different experience & that is what life’s about. Maybe it’s not for you & that’s okay too. I also had their local crafted beer, a light beer & a lager. Well done Lander Bar & Grill. Your local drafts are appealing to the pallet. So good, you have to say; okay, better be careful with that. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in Lander, Wyoming. That said, remember; if you’re going to have a few drinks, have a plan. Be responsible for yourself and respectful to the community. It’s a beautiful town. Let’s be respectful of that and honor that. Well done Lander, Wy.”

“Came to this Taco John's in Lander, WY a few minutes after the lobby closed. They had no problem letting us in and taking our order, as well as allowing us to sit in the lobby to eat. Very pleasant and accommodating crew, they are great!”

“Hole-in-the-wall cafe with some of the most absurdly delicious pastries that I've had in my life. An absolute must-visit in Lander. Fair warning, the inside of the cafe is pretty small, but it's set up quite efficiently and is very clean with an excellent atmosphere. Drinks were great as well, and staff is super friendly!”

“The food and the establishment is so good. I do however, would like for the cashier and servers to wear their hair back. More than a few times the cashier would get my food after placing hair behind the ear.”

“Easily one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to (and I’ve lived in NYC) — the pastries here are always top notch and the chocolate croissant is unparalleled. Can’t leave without getting a loaf of bread and if you’re here on pizza night you have to order one. The staff is always incredibly nice and they are consistently so, so good. No need to go anywhere else in Lander for a pastry!

Required stop when you’re passing thru on the way to or from the Tetons. Extremely fairly priced”
