This coffee shop is super cute. It is right on Main Street with exposed brick and those old school ornamented ceiling tiles. The coffee was really good- but the bagels were the star of the show. I’m from the east coast and haven’t had bagels this good since moving west. I also love that they are selling local art and have hot breakfast choices.
Stopped in because they have some gluten free goodies. Everything we got was delicious!
Friendly employees, willing to assist!
Very great coffee. I loved the place.
I feel genuinely bad giving this bakery a one star review. Normally I am able to find something to salvage in any business but I was at a loss for Lander Bake Shop.
This is long so here is a TLDR: The food ranges from bad to mid, the dirty chai latte could use some work on flavoring, and though the building and interior are both beautiful the music played absolutely wasn't.
The biggest problem was the quality of the food and drink. I bought two scones, a coffee cake, a cinnamon roll, and a dirty chai latte with the intention of splurging and sampling some food. The scones were dry to an extent that was shocking. I could have walked into Walmart and found a scone infinitely more edible. They would crumble once in your mouth and turn to dust. The taste was arguably worse. The apple chai scone tasted neither like apple or chai, and the lemon poppyseed tasted overwhelming like lemon curd without any poppyseed. They just weren't pleasant to eat.
The cinnamon roll and the coffee cake were fair in quality. The cinnamon roll was large and nicely flavored. I've had better but it could have been worse. My biggest issue with it would be its icing. The icing was cheap, too sweet, and didn't fit the item well. The coffee cake was the only thing I would order again. There were apples and brown sugar crumbles, it wasn't dry, and it tasted good. It beats something you could buy at Walmart but not by much.
The drink was the last thing I tried. I bought a dirty chai latte, as I've recently been on a bit of a chai kick. It came out good and was by far the most edible thing I tried. My only critique is that the chai didn't come through nearly enough, but that's an easy fix.
Finally, there is the ambiance. The building the bakery is stationed in is gorgeous, the interior design is the same. There is a wall covered in flyers and business cards that was eye catching and informative. I would have given ambiance a four at least if not for the choice of music. I stayed for forty-five minutes and the entire time the only genre of music being played was emo-pop-punk, specifically Twenty One Pilots. I was looking for a quiet Sunday morning to eat some baked goods, not to rock out to a 2000s boyband singing about peer pressure and tastelessly alluding to abuse and suicide. It was not the poor food that ultimately made me leave, it was a Twenty One Pilots song. Maybe I'm overly sensitive but the music was simply atrocious.
My mom recently moved to Lander so am looking forward to exploring all the new to me places in town and I've certainly found a favorite. The quiche of the day was the one of the most delicious things I've eaten ever (and I cook for a living!). Super stoked to have this gem within walking distance.
Great quality food/drinks. I just wish their food didn't take forever to make or I'd be there more often
Best pumpkin scone ever!! Loved our chicken gyro too and as travelers passing through, appreciated the comfortable atmosphere for a break in driving. Thank you!!

Great gluten free selection! Just picked up a Reuben sandwich on gluten free bread here and it was delicious. Came with a pickle and chips. I was helped by Lou, who was very sweet, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu items. The restaurant itself is clean and beautiful. Thank you!
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options: Gluten free pastries and gluten free bread for sandwiches.

Good coffee and delicious pumpkin bar.
Lots of seating for work/hanging out along with a lot of outlets to plug in.
Definitely a spot you can come and work all day.
Cute coffee shop. We travel, so I rate coffee shops based on being able to work as well, although Coffee flavor being the number one reason

We stopped here to see what they may have to offer for breakfast. To our surprise they had a nice variety of items. Quiche of the day and a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel were two of our favorite choices with a variety of coffee flavors & hot tea choices. They are a dog friendly place, so bring your pet with you. The inside was airy with high ceilings and brick walls. There was plenty of tables with chairs or the counter with chairs near the front windows to watch the traffic. It is basically a serve yourself when your name is called to pick up your meal and drinks, then over to grab your eating utensils. They also have a nice variety of fresh made desserts. We will be back again.

Seriously awesome. One of the best coffee shops in the state if not the country. Great pastries! Excellent coffee. Great selection! Nice antique ambiance. Only downside is that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. We'll be back soon!

Coffee was okay, but nothing special for the price.
Came here 3 days in a row.
Day 1: was told that all the vegan food would be labelled, and that they currently didn’t have anything vegan.
Day 2: I looked in the bakery case and didn’t see anything labelled vegan, so didn’t get baked good.
Day 3: I asked if they had vegan baked goods and the person behind the counter was very helpful and pointed out to me exactly what was vegan and was very knowledgeable about this. The items that she pointed out that I could eat actually weren’t labelled vegan.. alls to say: if you’re looking for something vegan, hopefully someone knowledgeable is working!
My advice to the business would be to label all of this to make it a little easier :)
Dietary restrictions: Limited vegan options, but unlabelled
