“We don't go through Lander without a stop at The Middle Fork. They never disappoint. The Tomato Soup is the best I've ever had. Paired with the Crab Omelet, which the chef happily split and made individually for us this visit shows that manager, Jamie, has trained her crew well trained with customer service. Can't decide what to eat? The quiche is always fantastic!”

“Just enjoyed Birthday dinner with my wife and inlaws. Every aspect of the experience was a 10. The server, Aurelia, was spot on, and all of the menu selections were out of this world. Owner/Chef Joe is extremely talented! Highly recommend.”

“We had a good time here. We spent time on the patio which is fabulous!

The prices left us feeling a little taken advantage of. Shots and beers were over priced across the board.

We didn't go back for our second nights stay because of the expense.

What really drove that home was when were in Dubois the next day and beers were almost 1/2 of of what we paid.”

I specifically asked for them to have the red cinnamon candies on them and the frosting, etc. I asked several times if they could do this and was assured I could. In short, they weren't made to order and were hard as a rock. Even my guests commented. Very embarrassing😠”

“Chester's chicken is served at the hot food counter of Mr. D's supermarket.The service was prompt and cordial. The chicken was crispy on the outside and both tender and moist on the inside. The pieces were large and the seasoning was very tasty.I got the 3 piece meal which provided more than enough food to satisfy me for dinner and breakfast the next day.The prices are much more reasonable than the major fried chicken chains.The other dishes at the Mr. D's hot food counter looked good. I only wish I had a few more days in Lander to try them.”

“Holy hell, we were on our way back from South Dakota to Utah on a motorcycle trip. We stopped here for lunch. We were not disappointed! The bar tender was a delight! They just received their delivery and had no cold coors lights for my friends. My friends asked the bartender to put some on ice for them. She was busy but she happily accommodated them. I have celiac and asked her if they had a gluten free pizza with a rice crust and not cauliflower. She happily let me know they did. I was ecstatic and ordered one. It was the best damn pizza I've had in years! She killed it! I feel bad I don't remember her name but she was awesome! The food was killer! A group of 7 of us! She rolled with our sarcasm and did so freaking awesome! Thank you for your delightful establishment, great customer service and amazing food! Not one of us complained! I would return anytime! ♡♡♡”

“Great burgers! We had the El Vaquero and the Old Fashioned. The heat level on the Vaquero was very good not overpowering. And the beer from Lander Bar was great.”

“The service was friendly and quick with a lower price (that I needed) for the Protein Pockets (>20g protein) in Baja Chicken, Peppercorn Ranch Chicken, Italian Trio, or Turkey & Ham, alongside Fresh Fit subs. I enjoyed the fresh vegetables and fresh baked bread. It filled me up for le$$ for a quick grab / drive through lunch. Always clean inside.”

“Best coffee and pastries in Wyoming. I've tried much of what the state has to offer in this area and Whitebark is by far the best. Service is also excellent, it is run and staffed by some truly wonderful folks.”

“The food and the establishment is so good. I do however, would like for the cashier and servers to wear their hair back. More than a few times the cashier would get my food after placing hair behind the ear.”

“Easily one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to (and I’ve lived in NYC) — the pastries here are always top notch and the chocolate croissant is unparalleled. Can’t leave without getting a loaf of bread and if you’re here on pizza night you have to order one. The staff is always incredibly nice and they are consistently so, so good. No need to go anywhere else in Lander for a pastry!

Required stop when you’re passing thru on the way to or from the Tetons. Extremely fairly priced”

“Big portions with a decent variety. Really disappointed that they didn't have choke cherry shakes available at the time.

They do really let you customize your sundae or shake by combing different syrups, ice cream flavours, and toppings.”
