Such a boring place. They play country music on 100 volume and any rap music at like 20. Also the food was gross. And there were two guys pretending to be woman. If you ever seen the meme for the most average burger. This is it.
If your like I'm going to kms. Go to this place. Just to reassure your self of how boring this world is

Came by 2 nights this past week admittedly late (~30-45 min before the grill closed) and the bartenders were icy both nights. The female bartender was nice as time went on but the male bartender was exceptionally rude to myself and my 70 year old father who is hard of hearing. Tried to break the ice and got all one word responses. This did not extend to familiar or other new patrons that I could tell. We didn’t say anything because all other aspects of our experience were great, and every other time I’ve been it has been exceptional (most recently in October 2018). Brews and food are great, we asked the server to bring us some red pepper for pizza and he brought us grilled fajita veggies that tasted excellent, super kind and accommodating. Will make sure we aren’t wearing hunting camouflage the next time we come in.

This is a beautifully designed location for something to eat or drink with friends or family. It has this older feeling with an updated aspect to it. Wonderful atmosphere to be in and the amazing people working are truly professionals at their craft. So you know, the grill part is food from Gannett Grill. I had a Pesto Lodge Pole and let me tell you, this is designed for more than one but if alone, is a meal in itself. It was delicious. I had leftovers to take. I also had the He’s-A-Fun-Guy burger. It is a portabella mushroom burger. I’ve never had that & I just wanted to try it. Have to step out of that comfort zone & try new things sometimes. Expand those horizons. It was delicious though & I was thoroughly impressed by it. It’s just a different experience & that is what life’s about. Maybe it’s not for you & that’s okay too. I also had their local crafted beer, a light beer & a lager. Well done Lander Bar & Grill. Your local drafts are appealing to the pallet. So good, you have to say; okay, better be careful with that. I highly recommend this establishment if you are in Lander, Wyoming. That said, remember; if you’re going to have a few drinks, have a plan. Be responsible for yourself and respectful to the community. It’s a beautiful town. Let’s be respectful of that and honor that. Well done Lander, Wy.

How do you find one of the top seafood dishes anywhere in Lander, Wyoming? You find Cowfish, and order the sea bass prepared by chef Chris McDonald. Amazing. Unreal. Off the charts. The next chef that will beat Bobby Flay. Bravo.

Nice bar and restaurant! Shannon the bartender was amazing! If my truck route brings me through here again I’ll be back!

The Lander Bar has been a staple in town for decades. It's current incarnation shares a kitchen with Gannett Grill. There is also a loft upstairs.
The food is ok. Can be hit and miss.
Service is sometimes very good, other times the bartenders can leave you hanging while they chat up the regulars.
Otherwise a good place to get a few drinks and unwind.

Had dinner and a drink at the Lander Bar on July 12, 2024. The Lander bar shares the same building with the Gannett Grill, and although I am not certain, I’m pretty confident they share the same kitchen. The bar has a great atmosphere, cool and classic without trying too hard (no dead animal heads on the wall). It was packed on a Friday night, but the bartenders were attentive and polite and I never had to wait for a drink. I had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The cheeseburger was very good and the onion rings were great. The bar and grill building has an open air patio with a soundstage that they share with the Cowfish Pub, a separate establishment that I look forward to trying tonight. There was a duo playing live music the night I was there and the patio was full. Recommend Lander Bar & Grill.

Let me just say, I’ve spent a lot of time bumping around the west coast. Lander Bar has done it right. Best service in the town. Nate the bar tender is the man to want. I’ve felt with a lot of shawty bar tenders in my time. Nate is the best in the west.
