For a tiny town on a lonely Wyoming highway, this restaurant serves a mighty big steak. I ordered the t-bone and had to split it with my daughter. And we still had some to take home with us. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the appetizers to the meal that comes from the founder’s original recipe collection. The atmosphere fits the history of the area and the restaurant. So come ready to fill up with some good home cooking and be ready to relax.
Great find near Lander! Loved the old timey vibe of the decor and overall ambiance of this restaurant.
Dinner was absolutely delicious; from the Relish plate to the cabbage rolls (with the sauce from the raviolis). The salad was a little underwhelming (chopped ice berg lettuce with sparse shredded carrots and purple cabbage slaw) but the blue cheese dressing made up for that! Steak and prime rib were very generous portions, and the fried chicken was good...

This place is right out of the 1970s steak was cooked to perfection, ravioli was good with excellent sauce, cabbage roll top notch. The sizzling plate was a very lost sound we don't hear anymore. Definitely going back.
