“I've been coming here for years and have always been a fan. Today, we got to watch an absolute master class on service and multitasking. 1 server and every table in the place was full. She handled everyone with grace and a smile, no one was lacking for anything. Obviously not the ideal situation, but you'd never know it from her demeanor. Almost 40 years in the restaurant industry, and I was blown away today watching her. Kudos, Moni, you are awesome.”

“We’ve been to wing shack a couple times now, popped in on day one and a couple times after that. Today we got to try the full menu, and man oh man we were ever so happy!
Greeted at the register by one of our favorites Cheyenne, she’s awesome. We tried the bear hot style for the chicken sandwich and wow that sucker was good and brought many sweat and tears. Cameron came over to check on us throughout our meal and made our dining experience even better! We haven’t had a meal there we didn’t like, and will be frequenting this spot for sure.”

“This place is so neat, especially for us Irish type people! they play great Irish music! the decoration is so neat! now to the food! when you come bring you big appetite because the portions are a good amount! I had the meatloaf with 'real" mashed potatoes and great beans! oh it is so good! husband had roast beef with same sides and brother-in-law had the chicken pot pie! we all came away carrying a container of food! this place was clean from the front door all the way through including the restrooms! if I ever get back this way I will eat here again! “I’ve been an employee and tenant of the Laramie Plains Civic Center for 2 years and the addition of Sunshine Coffee has been much needed. Not only does the building now offer food and drink outside of its lone Pepsi machine, but it has tremendously enhanced the atmosphere of the south entrance of the building. When I come into the building now, there are smiling faces gathered and great smells of coffee and food filling the space. It feels much more alive than before. The coffee is great. The food is great. (The cookies are my favorite.) The people are great. A huge addition to our building and greater community. Not to mention, it is Wyoming’s first zero waste coffee shop. This also means that it is a bring your own cup type of place. There is a cup library available if you forget your own, but if you’d like it on the go remember to bring your thermos!”

“My husband and I were in Laramie on business and decided to stop by The Great Untamed, and we are so glad we did! As someone who used to live in Arizona and loved Superstition Meadery, I've been on a long search for a place that could even come close. Honestly, I had given up hope of finding a meadery that could even come close to being on their level—until now.

The Great Untamed is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The mead is truly exceptional and rivals the best I've ever had. This place is the real deal. We can't wait to make a trip back to Laramie just to visit The Great Untamed again. “Stopped by McAlister’s in Laramie last night to redeem my tea pass, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Nathan (I’m guessing he’s the manager/owner). Hands down one of the nicest humans I’ve ever interacted with at a restaurant.

The cashier helping me hadn’t redeemed a tea pass before, and Nathan immediately stopped what he was doing to help—no frustration, no impatience, just kindness. He walked her through it step by step and made sure she felt supported, not like she was bothering him.

While he helped with my transaction, we stood there just genuinely chatting about all the tea deals, including Free Tea Day coming up in July. It was honestly just such a nice interaction. You don’t always see upper management step in like that, let alone with that much positivity and care for both their staff and customers.

Oh—and the tea was delicious, as always. I’ll definitely keep coming back, because of awesome people like Nathan and the whole team there.”

“Greg and Amy were wonderful and made sure to accommodate our 20 guests. There was a misunderstanding with our reservation and they didn’t originally have us in the back for our rehearsal dinner. Greg made the executive decision to reconcile their mistake and he made sure to check on us throughout the night. Amy was our waitress and she was so kind and attentive. We were frustrated when we got there due to the mixup but these two reconciled it and it was ended up good. Food was yummy!”

“Best Subway We've Had!

Stopped here on our way back to Colorado from Steamboat Springs and were blown away! My daughter and I each got a sandwich, cookies, and she grabbed a drink. As we were driving and eating, she paused and asked, “How’s yours?” I realized I’d been quietly enjoying it—it was honestly the best Subway sandwich I can remember having. Everything was fresh, perfectly made, and delicious.

She kept raving about how good her sandwich was too—and especially the lemonade. Not sure if they keep the drink machine cleaner than most, but whatever they’re doing, it’s working!

Bonus: the staff was super fast and efficient, which we really appreciated on a road trip.

Wish we lived closer because we’d be regulars!”

“I stopped into Mizu Sushi for dinner and was impressed from the start. I kicked things off with the bang bang wings and egg rolls, and honestly, both were standout appetizers. The wings came out hot and crispy with just the right balance of sweetness, spice, and crunch—they were easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The egg rolls were fresh, perfectly fried, and packed with flavor, not the soggy or overly greasy kind you sometimes get. I’d recommend starting with both if you want to set the tone right.

For the main course, I ordered the beef pho and a few pieces of eel sushi. The pho broth was rich, layered, and comforting, with tender beef and a solid balance of herbs and noodles. It tasted like it had been simmered with care rather than rushed. The eel sushi was fresh, had a great texture, and was prepared cleanly with just the right amount of sauce—not overpowering, which let the flavor of the eel come through.

The atmosphere was laid back but welcoming, and service was smooth and attentive without hovering. Everything came out quickly, and the quality across the board was consistent. For the price point, the portions and execution were both excellent.

Overall, Mizu Sushi is a spot I’d definitely return to, whether for a casual night out or a craving for solid sushi and pho in one place. Highly recommend the wings and egg rolls to start—they set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and the kitchen delivered.”

“The bagels were amazing. I got the Farmers Special with bacon, my partner got the one with ham, and my son the cinnamon raisin. I chose the Everything bagel with my meal. The bagel was very fresh and had a lot of the topping on top. My son's bagel had a lot of smear, they were not stingy with the toppings. The young lady behind the counter was kind and patient. Would definitely come back if we were from the area.”

“Lots of pool tables here! Attentive and friendly staff. One of the pool tables was acting dumb when you put money in but they took care of it. Theres an area with darts too. Music selection is awesome as well. The only thing I wish was that they had food on hand. You can get stuff delivered no problem the thing that sucks is it's less revenue for this place and then you also have to pay fees to doordash that could otherwise be going to the staff here and not detracting from the experience”

She did tell me that they can’t guarantee a gf kitchen which was fine since I don’t have celiac. I got eggs, potato, bacon, and gf toast. Great service, food was great, good price, and came out pretty fast!
