appalled would be an understatement at our experience!! the staff is an unorganized mess, waited 20mins for water after we were told we would get it twice… our server cared more about hanging out with the table of drunk rather take care of his tables. He kept forgetting things and just didn’t seem to care. The manager was standing right by our table offering no help to any of his employee and just chatting with people at the bar, then we watched him take a shot of alcohol with the table of drunks as well. Our food was mediocre and the smallest sides i have ever seen some with a steak! For the price i would never ever suggest this place to anyone!!

We were celebrating our grand daughters graduation from U of W. Made reservations in early April. We were from out of town. After arriving 15 min early for our 8 pm reservation, we still had a lengthy wait. The restaurant customers were well cleaned out by time we were seated. After taking our food orders it took a hour for our food to arrive. We were a party of 9. The food was ok. The steaks were not what us Mississippians were expecting as a Wyoming beef experience. All three orders of the garlic mashed potatoes were cold. The butter would not even melt on top of them. The service was OK but not exceptional.
We felt rushed even tho 3 other parties were seated after us. Other wise Laramie is a a wonderful place to visit and thankful for the hometown experience for our granddaughter for her four years of college.

We coordinated the venue through Emma and Andrew, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with, making the entire experience unforgettable. Additionally, our collaboration with Denise and the team at Altitude Chophouse & Brewery was exceptional. They made everything seamless, and their service was top-notch. The food was not only hot and delicious, but there was also more than enough to go around. I highly recommend Denise and her team for any large event – they truly delivered!

We had such a wonderful time at Altitude last night. Our server Kaden was so kind and attentive to our large group of 8! All our food was so delicious. Our appetizers came out hot and fresh and all our main dishes were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert. We had two! Thank you again Kaden for making our pre Thanksgiving family night out one to remember!

We kicked off a special weekend at Altitude Chophouse & Brewery… a reunion to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, her son starting college here, and our first time all together during the Thanksgiving holiday. While we came for great food and drinks, Joao, our waiter, made the evening absolutely unforgettable.
Joao didn’t just take our order—he turned our table into a margarita-making extravaganza! With plenty of humor and flair, he gave us a crash course in crafting the perfect margarita, complete with spilling a little salt (on purpose, we’re sure) and expertly showing how to rim a glass without losing the lime in the process. By the time we were sipping our drinks, we were laughing, learning, and fully enjoying the best margaritas we’ve had in ages. His creativity and spontaneity made it one of the most entertaining moments of the night.
The food was fantastic. The tacos were flavorful and satisfying, and the sirloin was tender and well-seasoned. Everything was cooked just right and served with care. Joao’s recommendations really helped us narrow down the menu, and his enthusiasm made the whole dining experience seamless and enjoyable.
What truly set Joao apart was his authenticity. He made us feel celebrated and appreciated. His kindness, respect, and effortless charm brought an energy that’s hard to find these days.

The Chophouse said they use the best beef, so I to try it. I got the Tuesday burger special popper burger medium and onion rings. The burger was really tasty, crispy and juicy. The house made ranch was great on the onion rings. The best part of the meal was the house microbrew stout beer. Really smooth with layered flavors and at an amazing price!

Food sucks. No other way to put it. Mussels were ok but served warm, ick. the bread that came with them not grilled well and tasted of freezer. All the red wine by the glass sucked too. Almost embarrassed to say I had the scallops, don't do it. Trust me
