I had high hopes, but they were quickly destroyed. This is the definition of a hipster bar. Oddly and unexplainable expensive drinks, I have spent far less on two doubles on the south side of Milwaukee. Actually, to prove a point, I could have bought a bottle of Bulleit Bourbon for the same price... Crowded with beta male manbuns and plaid laden wannabe lumberjack women everywhere. Ironically, the live music would have been great if it wasn't cranked to "a billion and 5" decibels. Even as a former smoker, the consistency that a billowing cloud enters the bar from the outside enclosure made me uncomfortable. The most out of place bar in this town, and I will never return.

Went to Rufffed Up Duck to hear Jonny Gold play. Great place. Bartender is hands down the best in the west imho. Great intimate venue. Will definitely be back!

This place is called the Roughed Up Duck these days. Give it a try the have beer and liquor and if you ask for a mixed drink you'll hear a snicker in the background before you are served a tasty shot.

Everyone was very very nice here, saw a show and some comedy on different nights while in town here, couldn’t recommend this place more. Good, well priced drinks.
