Scott has built an indispensable community spot at The Great Untamed. Every time I bring a friend from out of town, they’re awed at the communal feel and the welcoming, cozy atmosphere. I know I can find my friends there (including Scott), and that we’ll have a great time. What more can you ask of a bar? Stop in on a Friday sometime and join in on game night!
The great untamed is the Third Place - a place other than home or work, to meet with friends (and make new ones) in a welcoming atmosphere. No loud music and no distracting TVs, excellent homebrewed drinks. No complicated fancy cocktails that hold up the barkeep and make you wait for 10 minutes to order a drink. Many entertainment options in boardgames, if you're into that, or just hang out and talk about politics, the news, science, or whatever. A very friendly and diverse...
The mead is wonderful. The atmosphere feels like you’re at a family members’ house with soft music and you’re taking a nap on the couch. So homey feeling and some wonderful people! Highly recommend if you’re a an introvert and get overstimulated easily.
