Their gf food options are some of the worst I've seen at a college cafeteria. I would think they'd have better options than plain rice and overcooked chicken. This visit half of their drink stations were non- operational.

As far as college dining halls go I dont think its half bad (can’t compare it to others to be fair) but the amount of times I have gotten food poisoning from Wash makes my stomach churn. I loathe having to go there for food sometimes when the options aren’t great. You eventually learn what foods to avoid just simply through trial and error. Once in a while they have themed dinners throughout the semester, it feels like effort is really put into these and it shows, the food is good, the atmosphere is amazing, and the people who live in the dorms and never eat at Wash show up as well, so kudos to them. I also give props to the baked goods always being top notch no matter whats being served. I also have various concerns over there being mice, rats, and roaches throughout the building.

Over $3,000 a semester just to get food poisoning two weeks in. What a joke.

I was eating in there about 2 weeks ago when I saw a mouse running in the dining area. I would not recommend.

Sunday, March 24th, 2024. The Lime Chicken a chef called Dayana did was super juicy and delicious. Also, the pork stir fry Vanessa cooked, was super good and perfect.I would like to give some advice. It would be great if washakie accepts requests for desserts. Requests, but paid by the customer.

Having an inaccurate menu once could be considered a mistake; having an inaccurate menu daily is ridiculous. So far, the menu has been missing entire meals every time I've come, to the point that I'm beginning to believe someone is intentionally misrepresenting the offerings.

The food is terrible. No vegan proteins for breakfast, staff mix meat into vegan dishes regularly, and there is no continental breakfast or late lunch most days. Pets are allowed near the food, not certified service animals, but pets. You cannot trust the menus, "crepes" are omelettes with cottage cheese and applesauce and "pho" is raw vegetables and noodles without soup. If you have dietary concerns this is a dangerous kitchen. The staff who swipe you in are nice, but the rest of the operation is awful.

Nut allergy and was told granola was nut free then found almonds in it… Anaphylaxis is not the vibe of the day.
Last night, August 14, I had dinner at Washakie and it was one of best dining experiences I ever had. The previous two days I ate at two of the best restraunts in Laramie and even had prime rib yet they pale in comparison to the food and service I had at Washakie. Taylor, Francisco, and Vanessa made my mom and I insanely tasty meals and the service was top notch. I really like the new style Washakie is going for this year.
Dietary restrictions: The staff were very accommodating of my mom and I’s many dietary restrictions.
