Came for lunch, ribs won’t be ready for a couple of hours and out of lettuce. Table tops dirty. Just not impressed overall.
Outside seating is ok.
We loved Dornans Chuckwagon! Breakfast is great. Missed the burnt ends everyday, but their menu is so good you can’t go wrong.

Dornan's Chuckwagon is a charming restaurant located near Grand Teton National Park, offering outdoor seating with picnic tables, a covered wagon, and a teepee tent that add to the rustic charm. The outdoor dining area provides stunning views of the Tetons, making it a favorite spot for many visitors. The restaurant features a limited menu with sandwiches, soups (including green chili), and salads, which are ordered at the counter and then delivered to the table. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, with cooking done right in the pavilion, creating a welcoming environment.
The food is generally good, with some customers praising the breakfast for its perfect eggs, crispy bacon, and delicious French toast and pancakes. Lunch options, such as the huckleberry turkey sandwich, beef tip sandwich, buffalo burger, and pork sandwich, are enjoyed for their quick service and scenic outdoor seating, available in sun, shade, or in the teepee. The view of the Tetons while eating is often highlighted as a major plus. Prices are moderate, typical for a tourist area, and parking can be busy due to nearby shops and attractions.
While some dishes like grilled cheese and hamburger are considered basic, others like the crispy chicken sandwich and wedge salad with bacon, blue cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes receive positive reviews. The hot dog is a recommended choice, especially for those wanting a quick bite. The limited beer selection includes good local options, though it is not extensive. The Teton lemonade slushie has mixed reviews, with some finding it refreshing after a day of hiking and biking. Visitors are advised to arrive early to enjoy the popular items and avoid missing out, especially during busy daylight hours.
