Good place to get a drink and look at the views but don't count on this place to have any vegan food besides a basic garden salad. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-14

Cool place near Grand Teton National Park. In fact, we came here twice. First time outside at the grill, second time in the restaurant. Food was delicious, staff was very friendly, and the entire vibe was good with all the people - it was very busy.

My husband and I stayed in the Garnet cabin for a week and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect for exploring the Tetons, Yellowstone and Jackson. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. It was very quiet and allowed us the space to recharge and relax. We even saw a fox and moose family while there!! We were able to eat at the Chuckwagon before it closed. It’s advertised to serve 3 meals until October but they had already stopped the breakfast before the 20th of September. Dinner stopped being served at 5 and closed up a few days after we arrived. Thankfully, the grocery had sandwiches and other items we could purchase to eat. The pizza place was also good. Everything is pricey but you should know that if you are staying here! It was absolutely the best week and I hope we can stay here again someday! Book early!!

Absolutely terrible place. Has outdoor seating, but they hate dogs and won't allow you to sit outside and eat outside with a small 10lb dog.Ridiculous that outdoor seating, in a national park is not per friendly.

Food is marginal, at best. Bison burger was clearly a frozen patty, fries were also not fresh. Turkey sandwich was good. They were sold out of a lot of items on their menu that we were planning on getting - we went around 3pm so were a little surprised, as were the people behind us. Extremely overpriced for the food you get. Way better options to eat at in and out of Grand Teton NP.

Quick service. Fair food. The hot dog was good. Get there early before they start running out of the most popular foods. Located near Moose Entry gate to Grand Teton.

Leaving 5 stars for the atmosphere because it does have a beautiful view of the Tetons. However, only giving 2 total stars because we waited around 30 minutes or so for breakfast. They only had a few breakfast sandwiches and not what’s posted on their menus. Staff was rude as well.

Lots of good food and bourbon selections. Fabulous moose bread! To die for views, especially from the upper deck. A great, traditional Jackson venue!

Service was awful. There was so much smoke blowing from the kitchen we had to move from the inner seating area to the picnic tables and when we told our server that as she was bringing our food she said “okay” and proceeded to drop off all the food. So we carried everything ourselves to the picnic table. Naively we tipped before assuming they wouldn’t be so inhospitable. The salad was $8; probably cost $0.25 to make, so overpriced. The meat wasn’t cooked well. Nothing worth ever coming back to this place. Unsure why it’s recommended

Had the Burnt Ends, they were cooked just right but a bit dry...a little BBQ sauce helped. Had a side of Chili which was a bit sweet for my liking, but hearty. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Storm came rolling in while we ate our meal.

Overpriced and No Hoot at the Hootanannay! We paid $450 per night and got black mold & ants in the bathroom in the shower and on the walls, leftover coffee/ grounds in the coffee pot, and possible dirty sheets on the sleeper sofa. (We couldn't tell if they were clean or not). The room is worth maybe $220 a night at best -- in high season-- but since they have a captive audience they can charge an high rate and people pay it. As for the Hootannany goes.. It is a tradition with the city of Jackson Hole to have the hootannanny on Monday nights through the season. While it is a great tradition it lacks in HOOT! It was slow and droned on and on. Not much fun, no dancing, old songs nobody knew. The most excitement was the spider that crawled down my shirt. Dornan's as a whole is somewhere to get gas in the car and move on.

Don’t understand why they have a 3.9, the Brisket was top notch and cooked right. The fat cap was perfect compliment to the whole dish. I would go back again, don’t be scared off by the low score. It’s good food, and good service.
