The Buffalo Valley Cafe is a restaurant located in a picturesque setting, offering stunning views of the surrounding valley. It features a warm and inviting space where friendly folks are always ready to lend a hand. While the service and food quality may have varied in the past, recent changes have been made. Visitors can now enjoy a range of menu items, including burgers and fries, although the selection may be limited at times. The cafe is known for its authentic, local atmosphere, with the possibility of witnessing horse roundups nearby during certain times of the week.
While the lunch choices have been described as divine, some have noted that the pricing may be on the higher side, such as the $18 for 2 biscuit muffins with gravy. Even though it is located far from the city and in a ranch setting, some customers have expressed concerns about charges like $5 for a to-go box. The overall experience at the Buffalo Valley Cafe combines the beauty of the natural surroundings with a casual dining atmosphere, although some visitors have mentioned that the food is expensive and not particularly remarkable. They appreciate that the cafe stays open until 10 PM, but a few have pointed out that there is an auto gratuity added to all bills despite the limited service. If water is needed, customers might find themselves paying over $3 for a "fancy" plastic cup.
