John Colter's Ranch House Reviews
Ate at the bar. Food was fine but not exemplary (which would have been unusual). Service was prompt. Expensive but it’s in a national park. Had breakfast buffet there this AM. AVG+. Food was much better than most inexpensive hotel breakfasts. Service (coffee refills etc) were excellent.
Had the chili and salad. And an Amazing huckleberry martini! Thanks Alvin!! U were fantastic!
We had a quick lunch at the Ranch House, the food was so so, and the portion was small. Not recommended.

John Colter's Ranch House is a convenient spot to get a meal near campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park. The food is often described as phenomenal and delicious, featuring excellent elk and bison burgers, tasty hamburgers, and the Moran Salad, which is HUGE and could feed 2-3 people. For a group of four or more, the family platter is a great deal for plenty of food. The menu is basic, like most national park restaurants, but the portions are large. The staff is known for being very friendly, fun, and helpful, with a welcoming attitude that makes the dining experience enjoyable. Although it is an expensive place, it is a recommended experience for those looking for good options and a cozy atmosphere.
