Frida’s House is an amazing place! The service is top-notch, and the women there are absolutely wonderful—kind, welcoming, and professional. They really make you feel comfortable and taken care of from the moment you walk in. Such a great atmosphere with genuine hospitality. I highly recommend stopping by—great place!

This was so disappointing! We drove to Newcastle from Custer. We've ate here before and had great food and service. This rating is for Jan 7, 2026 only. We were seated by the host. He immediately went back to the POS and worked on it for a while. The other customers finished and left. Another customer came in to pick up an order. They told him 10 minutes. He left. The waitress got up from her table licking her fingers. She stood behind the desk for a while and went back to her finger licking good meal. We were the only customers there after 20 minutes without chips or a drink or another acknowledgement that we were even there we wished them a good evening and left. This morning I tried to call a manager several times but they also don't answer.

Delicious food made fresh but quickly, friendly service from hostess to waitress. We were just passing through town from Crazy Horse to Buffalo WY and found ourselves hungry at the right time! Veggie fajitas were $14 and the plate was the size of the moon. Our total with tax was $43 for two large mains (we took leftovers from both) AND a plate of nachos to start. We’re downright thinking about moving here.

Quiet environment. Staff on their phones. Waitress eating chips in the back before plating them for our table. Salsa is great. Chips are slightly stale but that doesn’t bother me personally. Waitress is generally attentive but does go out front to vape.
Food came after about ten minutes. Rice does seem to be reheated but is either undercooked or extremely dried out. I couldn’t eat it because it was too hard.
Overall, Red sauce is mid at best- it’s missing something, I thought the mole sauce was pretty good actually. Rice is dry and hard. Beans were not as blended as other reviews state but they are obviously microwaved.
Spicy Cucumber Margarita was fire although there wasn’t any alcohol to taste which I would have preferred. Waitress was quick to sanitize tables, trash cans are well maintained, what we could see of the stainless steel in the kitchen was also well maintained. Restaurant is good on cleanliness but lacks on food safety based on our experience. If you prefer fresh to homemade foods, this may not be the pick for you. But it is a nice, quiet spot to stop at while passing through.

This is by far the best Mexican food I've had here in the States. Especially the sauces. This is not your standard fare. Had chicken tacos on home made corn tortillas. Rice beans. Husband had relleno and chimichanga. The rice and beans were made how they are supposed to be made. Really nice, subtle, not over the top flavors or lard ar bacon grase or too much sauce on rice. Somebody knows what they are doing. Somewhat unexpected so hang in there!

This was a spur of the moment stop for us and we enjoyed the service, the food, and the atmosphere. The young man served our drinks promptly and our food was hot and fast. The appetizer of carne asada fries was superb!! Thank you

We walked in and were seated; good chips & salsa, good atmosphere... But upon asking which menu items could be made gluten free (usually easy with Mexican, just switch from flour to corn tortillas and no flour based sauces or seasonings), we were emphatically told that NOTHING in their restaurant is gluten free!! So... We left. The proprietors are unfortunately not interested in learning about this particular food allergy and how to accommodate.

Really good experience. Traveling through and got the cheese enchiladas with black beans and veggie enchiladas. Both were good. The veggie enchiladas were perhaps the best I've ever had.

Never been to a Mexican place that you had to ask for refills on chips and salsa. But the food was fantastic.
