Service was fast and super pleasant (from a delightful woman named Crystal), despite our being an ornery family starting a long drive back home. Bread was fresh (can’t be said of every Subway nowadays), ambiance was fine, but Crystal was perfect.

My gf and I come thru this truck stop often, but today (10/30/23) was the first and last time we eat at Subway. Today, we received the most nonchalant and carefree service I’ve ever received from a Subway. As a truck driver who spent all night, early morning, and afternoon driving, I was expecting a nice hot and juicy sub from Subway. To our disappointment, we got cold subs after waiting in line for 12 mins behind employees who were off shift ordering subs soup AND cookies, with NO consideration for the line that was forming behind them. I hate to be that rude customer because I’ve been there done that, but it took everything in me to stay polite and wait my turn. The gentleman Zack was doing his job and trying to keep the line moving by preparing the first part of the subs (bread, meat, and cheese then toasting it). But even with his help, the girl (who’s name I couldn’t read correctly on her name tag, so we’ll call her Deb) didn’t catch the hint that there are other sandwiches that needed to be completed by PAYING CUSTOMERS. Deb continued to slowly prepare her coworkers meals, while my sub sat and got cold. Debbie’s attitude towards me while I placed my order rubbed me wrong. It was as if me asking for extra pickles was a problem, and telling me that chipotle Mayo and Baja are the same thing, while slapping the Baja on my sub when I asked for Chipotle Mayo. Debra, I’m not sure Subway secrets should be told to customers, lol but okay.. My hunger kept me complacent but I couldn’t let my experience go unnoticed. Hopefully this location will do better for the next customer that comes through. Sadly, we will not be eating here ever again. 2 Stars for Zack and his efforts, he even asked his other coworker who was doing dishes in the back to come to the front and help.
