LOVED this hotel! We were passing through on a road-trip and stayed for one night but we loved the character of the hotel, and the welcome we got from the staff was so warm! They were so helpful and lovely! The room was very clean, could be accessed from outside which was really useful for packing the car which we parked right outside and it was also really peaceful! This is an older facility, but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We were warmly greeted as BW members and provided with water bottles and snacks. I don’t remember the name of the woman at the front desk, but she was excellent at making guests feel welcome. Breakfast was good and the price was fair.
We enjoyed our stay at a clean, comfortable hotel. The cleanliness of the facility was apparent the moment we walked in. Our room was great, and breakfast was very well-done. Please note that this hotel has a unique layout. The rooms surround a large, empty banquet room. The banquet area had an odor of chlorine that probably came from the nearby pool. Fortunately, the guest room was free of the odor. Overall, a terrific hotel, and we'll stay again.
