Pro: the grounds are well kept and beautiful. The breakfast was great and the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms are small but nice.
Cons: the front desk clerks are not friendly nor are they helpful. The bartender in the restaurant was not friendly.
We stayed 6 nights and they never cleaned our room. They only gave us 1 toilet paper roll, a box of Kleenex with 2 tissues left in it, and 2 bath towels. We had to chase down toilet paper and towels.
If they want to be called a resort, customers should not have to request toilet paper and fresh towels for a 6 night stay. Also, they need friendly front desk people.
We will not be staying here for future vacations in Saratoga.
This is a resort in name only, what it is you will find is a motel that has some stone hot tubs and a pool that’s been repurposed in to a hot pool. The room and bathroom were dismal, small and abused. At the price they charged $250 for a pool side queen (definitely not a queen bed), over priced, nickel and dimed me by charging 3% more because I reserved with credit card. When I requested to change the card on file they claimed “policy” of $10 per day of cancellations before they could change the card. This is obviously a locally depressed economy where they are short staffed and chiseling you for every cent they can squeeze out of you. Staff in the restaurants were nice but obviously overwhelmed, the “included” breakfast purportedly has an order-able menu but due to lack of staffing wasn’t an option. In short I won’t be back, it’s obvious the only folks enjoying this place are the owners who likely fly in on their private jets when they come right over the pool at 200 feet.
Food and bar services rock. Great help.
We certainly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The pool and the hot springs soaking pools are amazing. The restaurant and bar are very nice as we had dinner and drinks there, and the breakfast is a great start to the morning. With all that being said, the room could use a touch of updates as it was showing a little of it age. That's not to say that they are bad, just a touch of fresh is all.
Comfortable western themed resort featuring hot springs and delicious beers on tap.
Their website is unusable, I'm not some old guy that doesn't understand tech and I still couldn't simply book a room. you guys make millions a year, pay some kid to make a better website that actually works.
The breakfast here is amazing the buffet and the cook to order.
Great experience
Jim is a wonderful massage therapist. He has worked in the spa for many years. He is no longer there. He now works full time still in saratoga but at the red sage spa. So you can book him there for now on . He did not retire.
We love the Inn and have stayed here many times. Highly recommend poolside rooms and getting a massage at the Healing Water Spa. My only quibble is that there is not enough spots to hang wet stuff in the rooms. We are on the west side of the pool which has renovated bathrooms—very nice—and could have towel racks hung at the end of the shower for swimsuits to dry on. There could also be several more hooks for coats, towels, robes, etc in the room—there’s only three.

Nice little resort with charming hot springs in a beautiful location with nearby cross country skiing. Complementary breakfast was very nice and resort was cozy. Resort was noticeably old but with many upgrades. It’s a historic resort so this was expected. However beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Both my husband and I got very poor sleep both nights so will likely not be back because it really detracted from the experience.
Saratoga Hot Springs Resort
If you’re looking for a true Wyoming getaway, Saratoga Hot Springs Resort delivers.
The accommodations are pretty darn good. The rooms are definitely older, but they’re clean and well kept. The soundproofing between rooms isn’t what you’d find in a brand-new modern hotel, but honestly, that’s part of the charm. This place has character. It feels authentic, not cookie cutter.
Now let’s talk about the pools, absolutely to die for. The main pool is incredible, the hot tubs are fantastic, and the natural mineral water just hits different. The best part? The camaraderie in the water. We met great people, had easy conversations, and there’s something about sitting in a hot spring under the Wyoming sky that just brings people together.
Breakfast was good and made very easy, which we appreciated. No hassle, just simple and solid. We also had dinner at the attached brewery (additional cost), and it was great. Good food and an awesome staff that took care of us.
Overall, it was very relaxing and quiet for the most part, exactly what you hope for when you head to the springs to unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back.
Go there every year and love it.
Disappointing experience due to poor communication and service We drove three hours from Colorado for our stay and were surprised to arrive and learn that Saratoga Hot Springs had been closed for the holidays, with reopening not until 3:00 pm. We were not informed of this in advance, which was especially frustrating given the long drive and the fact that this property is very remote, with little to do other than visit the hot springs. When the property did open, the hot springs were not hot, as the heat had been turned off during the holiday. This significantly impacted the experience and defeats the purpose of staying at a hot springs destination. When we raised our concerns, the front desk staff were dismissive and did not offer any meaningful resolution. We asked to cancel our second night due to the closure and cold springs, but our request was declined. Overall, the lack of communication, limited flexibility, and poor customer service made this a disappointing stay. I would not recommend this property. There are free hot springs nearby (Hobo Hot Springs) that are a better option without the cost or frustration.
