10:30pm and they have sandwiches that were supposed to be pulled at 7:08pm kitchen closed for “cleaning” and the “chef” is sitting by the sink on his phone. If you’re gonna close the kitchen at least pull the expired food. So many truck stops do this and drivers wonder why they get sick so often.

Got stuck here when WYDOT closed the road for no apparent reason. It should never take eight to ten hours just to clear wreckage from the roadway and get traffic moving again. Anyway, decided to try the restaurant here, and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Wooly Burger and tato tots, and both were AMAZING. The Wooly is a thick, juicy buffalo burger with onion rings. Perfectly cooked and delicious. And the tots were nice and crispy and didnt taste greasy like tots usually do. Wife ordered a smothered burrito, and heres where they lose a star for service. Wife specifically asked the older, soft spoken lady what was in the burrito, as she doesnt like refried beans. The lady said all the ingredients but failed to mention the refried beans. And we could barely hear her, she was whispering for some reason. Overall, I definitely recommend the food here. Its surprisingly good

Pup & Pup
Stopped in late night on a long haul across Wyoming on our way to Utah because we were hungry as dogs and needed to refuel our cars and souls.
Thankfully, Pete's Eats provided the perfect meal for us two pups. We had a breakfast sandwich and man they were done to perfection. Also highly recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice. You can't beat it !
It was warm and friendly inside and had a really cool vibe. Super good value for what your getting
If we ever make our way back through we are definitely making our way to Pete's for some more Eats!
I tried to order the wild and wooly burger but they were out of buffalo meat. No biggie, that happens.
I ordered another burger that was ½lb beef, BBQ sauce, cheese and pineapple. It came with fries and some veggies for the burger on the side. All of the food was excellent.
The service was fine with the cashier being friendly but not being fake about it. My only complaint was the wait time. From the time I ordered to the time I received my food was 25 minutes and there were only a couple people in front of me.
I'll most likely stop by here again any time I'm passing through and have the time.

Needed a good meal after a long day of driving. The cook was super friendly and the burger legit made the misery of a long drive evaporate. Can't believe this is a gas station restaurant.
