This was our first time to dine at Calico and we were delighted. The food was both innovative and well-executed ((Try the Crispy Eggplant and the Watermelon Salad!) and the outdoor seating atmosphere was beautiful; overlooking a large shaded lawn where families with children were dining and playing. But it was the restaurant staff that made our experience so enjoyable. The reception staff were literally herding cats to juggle people with reservations, walk-ins like us, and people...
Came for dinner tonight, had a 5pm reservation. Doors for the bar were open at 430 and we had drinks to pass the time. The spicy margarita was good and our server was very sweet. We promptly moved to the dining area at 5 and got a seat on their porch area. The grassy area was great for children to play and families to enjoy. Overall the food was enjoyable, we had spaghetti and marinara / meatballs. We weren’t however crazy about the calico garden salad.

We returned here after having first visited in 2020. The ambiance and outdoor space is incredible! And this place is worth going but we found the food and service to be average this time around. Not bad, just not remarkable and the prices deserve a bit more.
