Based on the reviews, Lauries Bistro is a delightful surprise located in the blue rec centre building in Watson Lake. The food is amazing, with the best damn burger in the whole Yukon and a really, really good Rueben. The greatest hot chocolate and smoothies are also mentioned. Portions are huge, with fresh, homemade fries and excellent baked goods like a caramel brownie and blueberry pastry. The food features good quality ingredients like fresh, crisp lettuce and tomato. The service is great and the staff is friendly. Many travelers stop on their way to Whitehorse or Alaska. People will come again on the next trip.
