We really enjoyed it here. The food was excellent and the service was even better. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka massala and as a side the rice and garlic naan. The portions are huge. It was more than enough for the 2 of us. We would like to special thank the sweet lady who works there on monday. She was so kind. When we are coming back to Whitehorse in a few days we will definitely come back! Many greets from the Belgian people.
First time ordering after ownership and kitchen change. Chicken tikka masala had nice flavor but did not like the green bell peppers in it - makes me feel like you went cheap on the chicken and then added some bell peppers to make it seem more hearty. Also did not like the fact that there was no option to just order steamed rice. Ordered jeera rice which was tasty but not significantly enough to warrant the extra charges over the steamed rice that I used to be able to get at...
Virsa Indian Cuisine is a restaurant you must visit for delicious food. The chicken korma and chicken tikka masala were excellent, but there are many other options available, including vegetarian. The chef takes extra time to prepare your meal, so be prepared to wait a little longer than usual. Our server was friendly and she surprised us with a birthday dessert and song, which made the evening even better. Thank you and we will be back!
