Pretty competent bowl of Shoyu ramen in a location you really wouldn’t expect it!Strong points: noodles are pretty good, bowl is filling! Service is fast, friendly, attentive.Points of improvement:1)Dashi would be better from scratch with kombu, for applications like ramen where broth really matters the packaged stuff is pretty evident. However not sure if this is realistic in the Yukon… Still, this REALLY took me out of the eating experience2) Pork belly is not reaaaally seasoned like chashu would be. Couldn’t pick up any notes of ginger, etc. Still very good pork though! Would be better if cut thinner in my opinion as the current thickness overpowers the rest of the ramen3) Some wood ear mushrooms or bamboo shoots would’ve been nice, but again, not sure how realistic this is..Notes: They ran out of marinade for the eggs the night I went, but I’m told they usually do marinate it, fair enough, I don’t imagine mirin is too easy to come by in the Yukon.

A very good restaurant in town. The staff is great and friendly. It's inexpensive and incredibly good. In fact I believe that opinions are unanimous on this last point.

Food was absolutely amazing, service was very poor. I had to go up to order, I had to go up to get my bill because the server didn't check on me once. They were too busy chatting. I will come back for the food though, otherwise this would be a 5 without question.

WOW, THAT WAS FREAKING GOOD! Wanted to keep eating till I got sick it was that good. Portions were very very fair for price. BEST ramen I’ve had in years! Staff were extremely friendly, cool and glad to guide a unsure ramen beginner into a dish they like. Highly recommend!!

Some of the best bao's we have had in a while. The shrimp boa is phenomenal, ate at this place twice while we were in town. Would definitely recommend this place.

We were tourists - had no clue where to go. Happened upon this place after parking the RV in Shipyard park, lots of space. Excellent friendly service. Delicious meal. Ordered the chicken curry, Dan Dan and bucket of belly. Chicken curry disappeared fast. Highly recommend. Skip the fast food and get a good fresh meal here.

"Looks" alike, however, the taste is terrible, really bad. Tried 4 types of ramen/noodles in the menu, all far from the original taste/texture/ingredients. Only surprised me are pork belly and Chili oil (must try).

Ordered tantanmen ramen and it was the worst version of tantanmen ramen i have tasted so far, broth is not creamy and i can't taste any peanut sauce and sesame paste which are the main ingredients for tantanmen's broth. The broth is also too oily and the spice used is too strong. The noodles is undercooked and the nori taste old. Also ordered their drunken noodles which is like a fusion of a pad thai and chopsuey. Taste is okay but it's something that I will not order again. The only thing that we liked is the pork belly bucket. Taste is sweet and meat is crunchy and the fat melts in your mouth.Drinking cup is not washed properly. After putting water on it you will see oil floating. We asked for a new cup but it is still the same.

we ordered tonkatsu ramen and shoyu ramen.. Although the shoyu ramen had chili flakes in it, it was super spicy.. Coming from Vancouver where ramen is pretty common here, there would never ever be any spice in a shoyu ramen (if you want spicy they have chili on the side). So, that was very disappointing. I wouldn't say it was the best ramen but given that its the only one there it is average.

Ordered the tonkotsu and the sloppy joe baos. The baos were good. But the tonkotsu was very bland. The broth lacked any depth, the meat tasted like unseasoned meat, and I had asked for it to be very spicy, yet there was absolutely no spice in it. I had to rummage in the fridge for soy sauce and hot sauce to make it palatable. I did not finish it, and I'm loathe to waste food usually. Also, why is the meat in such big chunks? Shouldn't they be bite sized to be easily consumed with chopsticks?
