“Had my birthday dinner here with a couple buddies. Food and service were both amazing. our server Julie (I'm sorry if I'm not remembering correctly) was amazing. She was pleasant and informative and took the time to explain the menu because it was my first time there, and best of all she was attentive. She would check in every so often and was just great over all. I got the 14oz NY strip medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I dont see why anyone would go to the keg anymore with a place like this literally across the street. 10/10“

“This is one of our favourite haunts for fish-n-chips even if it is a bit out of the way for us. The fish has a light batter that is still crunchy. The deep fried oysters have been consistently good last several times we went there. The staff has always been great - the busy kitchen staff would greet you if the host/hostess was elsewhere. The dining room staff has always been cheerful.This is in the northeast corner of Kensington Square. The plaza mall has plenty of parking - very convenient.Parking: Plenty of mall parking. Some street parking east and of the mall, on Grove Avenue.“

I've tried several other poke restaurants, but nothing is close to Steve's.The fish is always super fresh tasting and really well marinated. Great variety of different toppings and sauces (regular toppings are unlimited). Service is top notch and very welcoming. I met the operations manager and was served by Yoon today, and they were super friendly!“

“I was referred by a friend to visit the place to try their $10.99 special. Fish filets with cream corn sauce on rice was one my childhood favorite and still is. It was absolutely delicious. Fish filets are crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cream corn sauce was perfectly done. It was a very good meal for $12.10 taxed in. (How do they survive with the pricing during these times? ?). Will return to try other stuff on the menu!“

“We have had dim sum and regular dinners here a few times and now it’s almost the end of King Crab KC season BUT a few other restaurants we called first could not positively confirm the availability so we decided to come back to Lee Garden BBY who guaranteed they still had abundant supplies. So a day before we ordered over the phone the KC set dinner for 4 ( for the three of us)Although we have been here a few times, we didn’t know any of the staff but we were still greeted by a very welcoming manager Wallace, who showed us our crab and I took a photo to compare when it returned on dish (heard too many scams in some other restaurants which swap crabs)…. It was TGIF and there were groups of happy customers and almost every table was enjoying their KC dinners!!All the 5 dishes and the soup included in the set were very tasty and in big portion….in fact we took home the last two fish dishes and the fried rice….they lasted for another two meals….)Our favorite was the garlic KC, but the salt & pepper KC was also very yummy. All through the dinner, another manager Roy and his team continued to provide very friendly service.Our wonderful Friday evening concluded with the desserts provided and the overall bill included tips and everything (no alcohol) was a bit over $600. Looking forward to return in the next KC season!“

“Had the party tray size of the fried beef with rice noodle, shrimp fried rice, and the fried green bean Szechuan style and all of it was solid tasting for what it was and standard as expected. The shrimp fried rice had lots of juicy shrimp pieces, the fried beef with flat rice noodle was typical, and the fried green bean Szechuan style was the highlight dish bursting with sweet chili, savoury soy, and mild spiciness. Highly recommend their green beans.“

“I have come here 19 times in the past 4 years for a mix of dim sum and dinner. I even hosted an event here.Food and service are always good. Lots of parking. Price is reasonable.This is pretty much my default restaurant with my family and my recommendation for Chinese restaurant in Burnaby.Thank you for the consistent good food and service.“

“We had 2024 Mother's Day dinner with five family members @ Acqua Restaurant. The ambience was great. A bright dining room with patio, well ventilated, spacious table space. Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers playoff was on TV, but each dining table was far apart enough that you didn't hear loud noise. High quality food and good portion food with fair value: We had beefsirloin, lamb shank, chicken supreme and 2 West Coast Salmon, all savory and with nutritious vegetables. Prices for cocktails, alcoholic drinks, and desserts are reasonable: Acqua Sapphire, Old Fashion, Stoneroad Rose, P49 Lager. Molten cake, mango berry cheesecake, Spanish Coffee, ice cream with berries are all delicious. The waiter was very polite with a smiley face and patient to wait for our order. Food was served hot temperature. The waiter gave us a complimentary pot of purple African daisy flowers for Mother's Day gift. The Acqua Restaurant is in the Executive Hotel and Conference. The restaurant provides free parking. The restaurant is good for business meetings and meal gatherings. I have attended a few payroll seminars in the Executive Hotel.“

Great tastes with good service in a comfortable setting.Parking: Free parking on power levels P1 and P2. Do not park at the surface level spaces.“

Wonderful atmosphere as an izakaya as well.Also, special thanks to one of the kindest waitresses I met in my lifetime. I dined in tonight and accidentally left my phone on the table for my first time ever, and she ran downstairs just to give me back my phone. So grateful for her help and I wish I could give her 30% or even more for tips. She is my lifesaver tonight and has my sincerest thanks.Definitely would visit again and looking forward to having great food.“

“A Chinese restaurant that North Burnaby can be happy about, much better than Wah Lun that was here before. The chefs here are good, just about everything is good in flavor not too salty or oily. It gets busy on weekends and holidays so best come early to get a table for lunch. Parking gets full easily but the city has parking lots very close by here“
