“The food is delicious, the service was excellent. They were very attentive, made suggestions and treated with kindness. I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable and they have many options on the drinks and food menu. If you can't find a drink, ask the person if they have it because not all of them are on the menu.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: There are gluten free options“

“The staff is so disrespectful! We arrived at this place around 12:35pm and the hostess said they would have a 35 min wait list. We said ok, got our names in the wait list and left. After 35 min I came back for a time check and the hostess said more 30 min wait. We have a toddler and 1 hour wait would be too much for the toddler. I asked to talk to the manager but the hostess said there was no manager on duty that day. I insisted since that wouldn't make any sense. After begging to talk to the person in charge, finally someone showed up. The manager was even more disrespectful than the hostess - she kept this ironic smile all the time and said that the hostess removed our names from the list by mistake but nothing could be done, not even offer us the top of the wait list and we had to go to the bottom of the list again. She also said they were doing the best they could - I left without saying a word since keep discussing was just pointless - when I walk out the door I just heard "and please don't come back". Just don't come here.“

“Went there 8:00 AM thinking they’d have fresh baked good. Ordered a croissant and a scone. They were at least 1 or 2 days old. Croissant was soggy. The cheese on top came off like rubber and the scone was so dry and stale, it was crumbling. On top of that it cost a fortune. Most definitely a skip. the latte was on par with a Tim Hortons regular coffee. I.e. not a latte at all“
“Barrio is one of the better places to get your coffee in Vancouver and if you live or are anywhere in North Van, this is a place you definitely want to go. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is seating inside to enjoy your coffee (appropriately safe during Covid restrictions). The cafe also sells beans if you need beans for home. P.s if you’re an Aussie or a Kiwi you’ll love it as Barrio is run by an Aussie, so you can expect good standards.“

“Good quality food with ambient atmosphere. I like how I can enjoy my food with a view of the blue sky!I arrived a bit late at 2pm, so almost all food is sold out, I ordered the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and the Chicken Soup. Both are above average! I especially love their soup, the portion is big and with lots of ingredients in it. Will definitely visit this little gem again!“

“Vomero Coffee House takes their coffee seriously. They source their beans from local roasters, ensuring freshness and supporting local businesses. The house blend espresso I tried was robust and smooth, with a hint of caramel that delighted the palate. It was perfectly brewed, showcasing their commitment to coffee excellence.“

“I've been to this location before and always have had a great experience! On this particular day I visited two other coffee shops earlier in the morning. And those two coffee shops had drip coffee that tasted like bath water yet the staff thought it was good. This location says the drip coffee is good and it's great they actually do a fantastic job of it and keep up the good work not sure how you get it done but you should teach a lot of these other coffee shops that perhaps had good coffee at one point but the owners bought them out and don't know how to do it right Thank you! The atmosphere is always good The staff is cheery and friendly I like to sit outside with a great view of the mountains!Parking: Street parking catch house catch can meters or some limited timed parking could park at a London drugs down the road but it's a little bit of a walk“

“Got a chorizo burrito. Wasnt the best ive ever had, maybe a bit of salsa needed and a tad high on the price but i would get it again. It was wholesome with what feels like home made ingredients, crispy shell and perfectly warmed. Some places heat it up and its cold in the centre at some places and overly hot on the outside, but this was great. As a grab and go, i would recommend this place.“

“I love this spot! The coffee is fantastic, and the service and snacks are just as great. It's my go-to place for picking up coffee to brew at home, and I love that they give you a complimentary coffee with every bag purchase. Plus, they have a recycling program for the old bags. My suggestion would be to add internet access and create a workspace to foster a community atmosphere. Also, it'd be amazing if they could offer coconut milk and alternatives like matcha for my partner who isn't able to drink coffee.“

“It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“

“Lovely relaxed place for an afternoon coffee. We came in for a little snack, got the banana bread and coffee. Ended up getting a turkey and cranberry toasty too because the menu looked so lovely.Warm and friendly service, very knowledgeable about their products, and allergens. Very hospitable and allowed us to alter a menu item to remove dairy for us. The banana bread is dairy free too! And so delicious with crust of crushed nuts.“

“This is a very lovely cafe with great drinks, food, and service!! The staff are extremely friendly and kind, and the place is super comfortable and very pleasant to be in. There are big windows that you can sit in front of and comfy couches and chairs where you can lounge. This place is usually decently quiet (depending on the time of day) so it's quite often a good place to go to for studying or doing some work.Parking can be a bit tricky during busy hours, but other than that this cafe is always a pleasure to go to!Parking: Parking is free but rather limited. Not many spots in front of the cafe itself but there are more spots behind the building.Wheelchair accessibility: This cafe is wheelchair accessible.“

“To be honest the coffee has had its ups and downs here. I don't often get it anymore because it seems to depend on who makes the coffee. The baking is good if you like rich. My girlfriend loves it, I do not. It's just too rich for my tastes. However the made to order cakes do look incredible and I'm sure they are amazing. They also do not offer soy however they do offer oat.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs anywhere so perfectly accessible.“

You can have a complete meal between $10 and $20. A real hidden gem at Lonsdale.“
