“I come here the second time while I am giving a review. I am a fan of Japanese food and I found that this place outstanding from where I went during 3 months in Victoria (love it) salmon is fresh and amazing takoyaki. even chocolate mint after bills is amazing to.“

“Ferris' is a great spot for seafood eats for casual, intimate dining without being formal. Portions are generous, beverages are good, and the overall vibe is cool. The menu on offering had a lot of variety including pasta dishes, soups, fried fare , and more. The fresh oysters on the half shell and our other appetizer were delivered to our table within minutes of ordering, and our mains arrived at the perfect time. All of our dishes were piping hot and fresh from the kitchen. The food was incredibly delicious; mains, sides, and all. The fish and chips in particular were superb -- battered and fried perfectly. The three of us all left very satisfied with the amount we were served. Only minus was the very moody lighting inside. It was hard to see my friends just a few feet in front of me before my eyes adjusted!“

“L'Apero catered our professional event today and to say the food was outstanding is an understatement. Deliciously fresh and inviting, top quality ingredients and excellent service. Some really wonderful and unanticipated additions (honeycomb, figs, sugared cranberries) The pate and cheese was to die for. The entire staff were blown away. Thank you for such an amazing lunch!“

“Friendly staff and delicious breakfast fare. What more could you ask for? I know -- an outdoor patio with a pickup window so you can bring your pet along! They even have a "take a ball, leave a ball" dish at the front door for your canine companion. How cute is that?“

“After I ordered my burger, I thought "oh shoot; I don't remember seeing that it came with cheese". I am new to burgers as I just discovered my love of mayo, so I'd never had a burger without cheese (lol!)!My cheese - less burger was SO GOOD that I demolished it within 3 minutes. Today I found out that a handmade, quality burger does not need cheese for excellence.My food was delicious, and my server brought extra napkins before I even had to ask haha!Lovely service, paired with food made from love (plus the good music), is a GEM of an establishment!!I will be back whenever I can! “I cannot comment on the food, as we recently went to Artisan Bistro in Broadmead only for coffee. It was on a Tuesday afternoon, around 2 o'clock. The restaurant was practically full. The space is pleasant, bright and cheerful, with small tables and a few booths. The coffee was good. Although we only had coffee, the service was excellent. Our waiter was prompt, attentive and courteous, never rushed us, even though we stayed for a couple of hours, drinking coffee and water. As for the food, I must say I glanced at the tables around us but did not find the looks or the smell of the food enticing. In fairness, our friends looked at the dinner menu, liked the selection and likely will go back.“

“This was the location attached to our hotel, which gave a gift certificate for our stay. We would have gone anyway. Weather was beautiful and we could eat outside, creating a particularly nice ambience. Happy hour meals were quite good, as were drinks. Service was attentive. We would return.“

“This place has the type of urinal refreshers that prevents any splashback while you pee, so that's an automatic four stars. The extra star is because the service, food, and atmosphere is amazing. If I could give it 10 stars I would because they employ local musicians. Love this place!! This is how a pub should be run ???“
