“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.“

Thank me later.Last year my husband and I tried the galbi-jjim and was pleasantly surprised with how much passion and soul was put into that single dish. Almost exactly the way that my grandmother would make it. They use only the freshest ingredients, and absolutely no "old" taste. Galbi-jjim was sweet, salty, and nice subtle kick to it.Today we tried the eundaegu, which is fish. Ohh my goodness. Just like last year, the ingredients are SO fresh! The fish, which normally in restaraunts are a bit old, a bit chewy, some even foul smelling, but here, the fish was cooked to perfection. So soft, no fishy smell, and you can slither(?) the fish meat right off the bone. It was amazing. Then once you get to the cooked radish? Wow. The one issue I have is that songs that are listed in the book can only be pulled up via the numerical code and not by searching the song title or artist name. This forces you to spend a lot of time looking through the book which is not in any specific order. Another small issue is the words on the screen do not move and sync with the music so it's better if you know the song by heart.“

The food was delicious, I recommend getting a combo so you can try many different things. Not only was the food good but the experience was amazing as well. Lena cooked the meats on front of us (she cooked them perfectly) and you could add seasonings and sauces. Additionally, the sides are brought by ROBOTS. My little sister loved this and couldn't stop giggling every time a robot came by and dropped of some kimchi which was free with the combo. 10/10 would recommend. “There are many Korean BBQ in Ktown and there is Daedo. Unique and exquisite... Definitely not your ordinary meat or meal you have experienced elsewhere. Every item served are meticulously prepared to perfection. Their Korean Radish kimchi (kkakdoogi) and dwenjang (fermented bean paste) is just out of this world amazing, they have a profoundly rich and complex flavor that can only be achieved through using only natural ingredients, traditional methods, and most importantly time. No corners were cut only the fat off the meat they served. I was very impressed. Keep up the great work!“

“We dined here our first night in LA during Spring Break. For a family of 4, we ordered the Taste Of Parks BBQ. All the meats and aide dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. “Hangari proves time and time again that they're the best kalguksu you can get in so-cal! I've tried many kalguksu spots and Hangari's quality, portion size, textures, and flavors just can't be beat. My favorites are the chicken kalguksu and the spicy seafood kalguksu. I just recently found out you can make any of the soups spicy and discovered the joy of spicy chicken kalguksu. Their banchans are also well fermented and packed with tangy flavor that gets your mouth salivating! Parking is the only problem here, there's a small valet only lot and mostly street meter parking. Across the street H-mart has a lot, but you must purchase ~20bucks of groceries to get validated, and you're limited to 1 hour or you'll get charged additional! I wish there were more locations, I saw garden grove has a place with the same name, however the menu and dishes look completely different.“

It’s walking distance from Gold Diggers and Hollywood Forever (both great concert venues), and honestly some of the best eggplant I’ve ever had.The menu is simple and straightforward, with one vegan/vegetarian option. The tofu and eggplant bowl was insanely delicious. Huge portions, very reasonable price, and piping hot and fresh.I walked there and ordered from the cashier, and it was a ten minute wait for food. You can order online in advance for pick up from their website, and it seems like they do a ton of delivery.They gave me napkins, a fork, and soy sauce and sriracha packets, but I didn’t need them because it was seasoned and flavored perfectly. The tofu was melt in your mouth soft, not chewy at all, my favorite way of eating it. The in house pickled veggies were so good, and balanced the flavors in the dish. There were cashews for a crunch, and some onions and bok choy, all on a bed of fluffy white rice.I know LA has a ton of places to eat but I would definitely come back just for this bowl.After the rest of my group saw and smelled what I was eating, they all went to go order from there themselves and agreed it was delicious.Vegetarian options: The menu is super simple and there’s one vegan bowl but it’s incredible and totally worth it.“

There could be a little bit of weight because they don’t take reservations, but it’s totally worth it. you can get a drink while you wait for your table. We always go in groups and get the beef combo that comes with a soup. “Wow! The best marinated pork ribs! Come on down to Jin Ju. It isn't an all you can eat spot, but you can't beat the quality. My friend and I decided to try the prime beef and the marinated pork ribs (which is their speciality). Both meats were very delicious. They pretty much cook your food for you. The beef was cut into nice cubes. They were cooked at a perfect medium rare. The prok ribs were also cut into pieces, as well. There was a good selection of 10 types of banchan: fishcake (eomuk bokkeum), sesame broccoli, kimchi, potato salad, cucumber kimchi (sigeumchi-namul), stir-fried glass noodles (japchae), korean spinach, pickled onions, bean sprouts (kongnamul), pancake (yachaejeon), and radish kimchi (kkakdugi) . And honestly, this spot has one of the better quality banchan sides. The japchae had so much flavor, and the potato salad was also good. I appreciated that they offered the pickled onions, which goes really well with the marinated pork. My friend was also excited that they had korean spinach, which most places don't have at all. We also ordered the red pepper paste soup. It was so good! Rick and full of flavor. There's enough seating for 2-6 people to each table. It's not too big of a spot, so if you're trying to get away from the long lined spots - this is the spot to be. Service is quick and friendly. There is free parking in the lot if you're lucky. If not, you can find free street parking.“

“Super amazing marinated short rib, even my friend who doesn't like meat liked it. If I ever went again that would be the only thing I buy. But it could be very pricey for the quality and quantity (we got course C and an extra order of marinated short rib + two steamed eggs and a japchae)- which is a major con for them vs other kbbqs around town. They did have so many side dishes that it couldn't fit the table!! I was really disappointed they stuffed my party of 6 in such a small table for 4 when the whole restaurant was basically empty at Thursday Lunch. “I work at a plastic surgery clinic where we often have lunch together as a group. With almost 30 people, it can be difficult to decide on a menu each time. However, we recently tried ordering food for all 30 of us from here and we were all pleasantly surprised by how perfect everything was. “My wife is Korean, and we have dined in all the top Korean places in Los Angeles and Seoul for over 20 years. AB Steak delivers high end versions of traditional Korean classics. The quality of the meat is superior to that of most Korean restaurants, from the melt in your mouth A5 like kkotsal to the marinated short ribs. The egg “soufflé” gyeranjjim has a light cheese sauce and more flavor than typical. Moving perfectly cooked medium rare meat from the grill to a cast iron warmer keeps the meat warm while preventing over cooking is a great idea. Service is capable and friendly.“

“After seeing some vids about how great the mul naeng myun is here, I had to come try with my family. My sister and I got the mul naeng myun and my grandma got the sagol dduk mandu guk (ox bone soup with rice cake and dumplings). The broth of the naeng myun was clear and crisp, but a little bland, I had to put in a lot of the mustard paste and vinegar to increase the flavor. Overall, I liked the thinness and texture of the noodles, but the flavor of the soup was nothing too out of the ordinary. The banchan though... deserves a standing ovation. The side dishes were fresh, well seasoned, and Korean grandma approved. I think I preferred my grandma's rice cake soup to my naeng myun, but I would be willing to come back and try their other dishes. We got a pajeon (chive pancake) on the side as well, which was crispy and came with a lovely soy sauce on the side. The waitresses were also very attentive and kind. The restaurant was nearly empty when we walked in for a late lunch on a weekday. Overall a great experience :)“

“A little gem! They have Korean and Japanese styled rice bowls here. Many great options with reasonable prices and serving sizes especially for the area. We got the tuna tataki bowl and chicken karaage bowl. The person handling orders was really great and said the tuna tataki was their favorite and even gave helpful directions on how to best enjoy the rice bowl with the sauce! Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.“

“We've been coming here for years and I think I've been to this spot more times than any other place in ktown! They basically have 3 items on the menu: Duck, Duck, or Duck. Pro tip: If it's your first time here, just get the basic duck slices and your banchan and here's why. Although the duck here is delicious, the highlight of the meal really comes at the end. Koreans make a big deal about duck fat and it's health benefits over other types of unhealthy fat. So as you're grilling your duck in the center of the table, they plug up the grill with a small piece of kimchi and let that golden clear duck fat pool up at the end of the grill. When you're done, she'll come out with a big bowl of korean red rice, dump it into that crystal clear duck fat along with all of your remaining banchan (make sure to leave enough or order more!) and make the best fried rice from your leftover duck fat, that you've ever eaten anywhere.... This is the way. So the 3 duck dishes are basically duck slices, duck strips, or spicy marinated duck. If you order the spicy duck, it messes up the grill and fat a little and the rice is not quite as good. Definitely try it on your second visit (and you will be back after your first) but keep it simple for your first time!“

Staff was very friendly and we were told our food will take 10-15 mins to prepare due to the delicate and meticulous nature of preparation and honestly didn't mind. Can't rush good quality meal! I wanted to order something with a little kick to it, so I tried the Knife cut noodle in spicy chicken broth. I thought it was good, however it wasn't really spicy. Felt like it lacked just a bit of flavor in it. The overall place was clean and brightly lit up. Customer service was great. Would probably come back to give something else a try on the menu.“

The most exaggerating thing is that after we almost finished eating, it was already around 10 o'clock, and there was still a queue outside.
