“Best hidden gem in Los Angeles. Nice enough for a special occasion, with incredible service, food, and drink selection- but I felt the prices were all perfectly adequate and reasonable. Definitely looking forward to coming back! Thanks for making my anniversary special!“

“Fusion Filipino restaurant with natural wine and Filipino beer selection. After trying many under-delivered fusion Filipino restaurants, Spoon and Pork easily takes the crowd to have the best executed fusion style dishes. We had the sinigang, grilled chicken, adobo chicken wings, pork belly, and garlic rice, and none of them disappointed.Sinigang's soup was rich and flavorful while the topping in the soup was cooked separately so they are not over cooked. The ribs came with a real nicely grilled flavored. The pork belly had crispy skin as expected and the fat to meat ratio was really good. The adobo chicken wings sauce was thick and sticky and not too salty nor sour, we kept the sauce for dipping Even after the wings were devoured. We are glad we took another chance in another fusion Filipino restaurant and we'll keep S&P on our rotation.“

“I could have kept eating the paella forever! We chose to try the squid ink paella (which they're known for) and it was a great choice, would need to come back for the seafood paella (which I saw at the next table and looked delicious) but you can't go wrong with either. They also have some good sangria so that was great. Cute date spot with delicious food and great service! Parking can be hit or miss but street parking is definitely available.“

“We almost drove right by the restaurant because there was no sign, but fortunately we found our way in to the cozy bungalow dining room. We ordered the turmeric fish hotpot which was full of flavor with crispy rice and soft flavor fish that was amazing. Everything else we ordered did not disappoint--the watercress salad with beef was fresh and tender, steamed rice cakes with shredded shrimp and taro root crispy rolls were unique spins on traditional dishes that were really shareable and delicious. Definitely will come back!“

“We stumbled onto GTR while we were killing time before a WB studio tour, and boy, am I glad we did. I could've stayed all day. Too many taps to count, a really cool industrial art feel inside, quaint outdoor seating and a game area too! Will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Even had good convos with the barkeep and other patrons. Definitely check it out!“

“I love this place. A bit pricy but everything is fresh and prepared with much tlc. The staff is always so sweet and there's a particular lovely trans server who always greets me as if I'm family. She has the most warm personality and to be honest, she is one of the reasons I keep coming back! She recommended the citron roll to me and I've been hooked ever since. I'll typically order that, and a couple other simple rolls that are discounted during happy hour. My fav thing to do is sit on the patio eating sushi and people watching. One time a guy decked out in Beyoncé fan gear came up to me and sang happy birthday to his Beyoncé pillow (it was her birthday that day). Nothing but good vibes here.“

“Fabulous place. we really loved the service, the atmosphere, and the food. Everyone's food was delicious, especially the brussels sprouts!. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that my chopped salad sounded much more exciting on paper than the actual product. It was basic and disappointing so I will order something else next time. However, appetizers and other entrees were delicious.“

“Update, two weeks later: So after a slightly rocky start, we went again - the food and wine were excellent as before, but the service really really improved since the last time. I can highly recommend this place to go for a good time. If you are with friends, make sure you try "family style" - order loads of munchies - the four of us shared the charcuterie board (the salami was among the best I ever had), the flatbreads, the baked brie - and a sample plate of their delicious oils - so so so good - and given the superb quality, reasonably priced. Not to forget: did you ever try vanilla ice cream with olive oil - you should ;-) So thankful they understood and appreciated my earlier review. I will surely go again soon. Previous review: Oh, what a wonderful place - and an amazing concept. My wife and I took two friends yesterday. We were seated at a table for two, with the promise to be relocated to the table next to us as patrons were close to getting their check. Never happened, no problem.I wanted to order a bottle of wine. The service recommended tasting their canned wines - 4 different ones for $49. Canned wine? I come from Germany, from Koblenz, where the rivers Rhine and Mosel meet. Canned wine? Seriously? Still, why not try something new?So the four of us received four balloon glasses with the four wines. Wine tasting? Share every glass physically with four people in times of Corona? They must be kidding. I would have expected to get four cans - and, in all honesty, four small glasses for each of us. Sure: it ain't the Ritz - a personal glass for each of us. But sure: this ain't "The Ritz," so we shared. We are really good friends, and we did have a good time. The wine was OK - which sounds as if something was wrong - it wasn't. It was OK - nice experience, but I would personally not order again - while it may be perfectly fine for you, the reader (by the way, I appreciate you reading this ;-)Then: the food. As with the wine, we wanted to share. We started with the baked brie, which was really really good, and the burrata flatbread, which came soaked, and I really mean soaked, in Oil. Sadly, it did not come with silverware. We asked three times but never got it. Then, we asked if we could have at least some napkins. We got two. We were here to share, weren't we ;-)I asked for the check. The printer had issues. Happens. We were not in a rush. Service offered a sip of wine while we had to wait. Sure, a nice gesture. Sadly, the wine never came. After just under half an hour, we got some sort of check - still issues with the printer. We were charged $61 for the wines - they were charged separately and not, as per the menu and recommendation, as the $49 offer. $12 was refunded. Receipt: sorry, the printer.I really wanted to love the place, and as we enjoyed the company of our dear friends in a nice atmosphere, loved the brie, and drank the wine, I did not want to spoil the evening by arguing about the service, which really "has potential."It would have been easy to make this a five-star recommendation, as the location, atmosphere and general concept scream fabulous. I would possibly go again. At the moment, I feel sorry for the place.“

“This was my second time at Bacari GDL. Quality and service has been consistent each time. I really appreciate that the server asks if you have any allergies. I have a shellfish allergy and it was taken very seriously. Just a few vegan options but they are delicious. I highly recommend Bacari and it will definitely be in my rotation.“

“We visited this establishment for the first time on Superbowl Sunday. I have never seen a manager go so above and beyond for his guests than I witnessed at the Den. It was crowded, but he went out of his way to find seating for us and took great care of us. He was very visible during the very crowded time and could be seen helping his staff. When we are back in the Hollywood area, we will revisit here just for the customer service alone, although the food and drinks were 5 star as well.“

“My visit to Bar Celona tapas bar was like stepping into Spain itself. It truly was an ideal spot to indulge in authentic tapas and savor the flavors of Spain. We ordered a variety of seafood dishes, including paella, mussels, calamari, and enjoyed a refreshing sangria to complement the meal. The server at Bar Celona tapas bar was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was lively, enhanced by the presence of a DJ, creating a vibrant atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience.“

“I am beyond sad that Bar Moruno has closed. But I was overjoyed to be there on closing night and celebrate with the regulars that had packed the place to bid their farewells. I have eaten there countless times and was shocked to read that they were closing. It seemed to be packed every time i went so I am at a loss as to why they chose to cease operations.I decided to sit at the bar so I could socialize with the bartenders, all of which have been there pretty much since day one. My favorite cocktail is their coconut gin martini, an unforgettable mix of coconut gin, white vermouth, matcha tincture and celery bitters. I cannot get enough of this drink and, thankfully, one of the bartenders taught me how to make it so I can continue enjoying it at home. SCORE!!! I also ordered their radicchio salad which pairs nicely with the cocktail. The salad is huge in comparison to many of their other dishes so I was more than happy to share with those around me.It was a joyous occasion that night and I treasures spending time with so many other regular customers. But the highlight of the night goes to the bartenders who joined in the celebration as we bid adieu to an excellent bar and restaurant. Adiós Bar Moruno!! You will be missed.Cocnut“

“Casa Cordoba is a true Spanish culinary gem! My fiancée and I had an unforgettable evening, transported to Spain from the moment we stepped inside. The vibrant ambiance, fueled by live flamenco music and dance, added an enchanting touch to our dining experience. The food was exceptional--we savored the special tasting menu featuring four delightful tapas of our choice plus dessert for a reasonable $65. Each dish was a masterpiece, with the ham croquets stealing the spotlight. The owner's personal touch, greeting every guest despite the packed restaurant, added warmth to the evening. Richard, our server, was a standout with his infectious laugh and impeccable service, making us feel like VIPs. The restaurant's authentic design, from décor to table settings, completed the immersive experience. Casa Cordoba is a must-visit whether you're a foodie, music lover, or seeking a memorable night out. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit!“
